Well, it's been a hot minute by my standards. I've really not been feeling ok about my work lately, my brain is exhausted and everything I make feels stale. Whilst I try not to express how I feel about my work and how much anxiety showing it gives me, it's a feeling that's very much there. Artists putting themselves down makes me sad to see in other people, so it's not something I want to do myself, but sometimes it's so hard to look at your work objectively.
But whatever, boo hoo. I'm facing my fears.

Hi, I just want to point out that the image posted as an example by ThePumpkaboo (regardless of intentions) is stolen and edited. A quick reverse image search brings up the original artist's ArtStation account. I'm not sure who it was edited by but please don't edit other artists work and claim it as done by yourself or anyone else. Not only is it against site rules but it's also really disrespectful to the original artist.

(The image posed by DrGrimm won't load so I can't comment on that)

I'm not posting as a callout or anything, just so more people ordering art aren't mislead

Ooh hello! I'm very happy to see people posting here again!

@Icefox that looks so nice, I really love the subtlety of the freckles and the warmth of the skin! If you want to try and tackle the flatness you said you're struggling with, I think the shadows need more contrast to help define the shapes. And even if you're stylising things references always help!! Looking at how skulls are proportioned really help with portraiture.
@-Ankh Even your silly drawings are so cute!! the colour contrast in the lil' sad clown drawing are super nice!! <3
@Popplio DOGS!! Their personalities come across so nicely in all the drawings, they're great!
@Sentret cute!! I love that lil' tongue!
@Electris that character is so cute! I love her colours!!
