"I challenge you to a battle!" The boy yelled out, jumping out in front of her. Taz glanced around from behind Paisley's legs, about as confused as she was. "Uh okay.." ... "Taz go, I guess?" The Gible walked out from behind his trainers legs, crying out his name but giving his trainer a hopeful look, obviously judging if his trainer knew what was going on. The young boy called out a Bidoof which plopped onto the ground with a look of confusion that also painted Paisley and Taz. "Bidoof use growl!" The boy yelled out, throwing his hand forward in a commanding way. The Bidoof let out a small growl and Taz looked back at Paisley. "Uh Taz, use earthquake!" Paisley yelled out, doing the weird hand motion the other trainer just did. The Gible made a small noise, glancing up at his trainer. Paisley didn't know Pokemon moves aside from the ones she'd seen in championship battles on T.V. and so her selection was limited to mainly powerful moves. "Your Gible doesn't know earthquake!" The young boy groaned out, rolling his eyes. "Go learn how to battle before you challenge someone!" The boy stormed off before Paisley could say anything, leaving her distressed and annoyed all at once, a confused Gible still giving her a look for guidance. [Read more] |

"I'm heading towards Jubilife, yeah." Paisley said softly, running her fingers through her hair. Her eyes glanced back towards her Gible who was still out of his Pokeball. She didn't really have the heart to put him back inside the Pokeball yet. "Come on Taz." Paisley quietly commanded the small toothy guy to follow her as she silently walked past the two people who had collided, not wanting to get involved. Paisley was handed a pokeball, it was green and black and she had a bit of trouble before realizing it was a dusk ball. She found it quite cool, having an almost camo pokeball. She spun the Pokeball between her fingers for a moment before tossing the ball forward, watching as a beam of light and a low hum filled the air. She watched as the light burst and it took her eyes a moment to adjust to the little blue thing now sitting on the lab floor. "Gib" The small Pokemon looked up at its new trainer hopefully. Paisley squinted a bit. Gib? She thought to herself What is this weird stubby thing? She slowly bent down to the Poke's height, reaching a hand out. She hadn't seen this Pokemon before so it was a surprise to her. She kinda found the little Poke cute, but from watching battles she knew that most "cute" Pokemon weren't too tough... His sharp teeth looked promising though. "I'm gonna call you Taz." She said after a long pause, placing a hand out towards the Pokemon The Pokemon grinned and let out a loud and excited "Gible!" Paisley glanced up as the professor appeared. She got a giddy feeling but tried her best to hide it as she made her way behind a few others into the lab. She said nothing, casually adjusting her backpack straps and looking around the place. She just wanted her Pokemon so she could start battling as soon as possible. [Read more] |

Paisley nodded in thanks and took a bite of the poffin, immediately hating the taste. She resisted the urge to spit it out on the ground though in front of everyone and elected to take a small walk around the tree so she could casually drop the rest of the poffin in the grass and swallow the piece in her mouth whole before the taste could get worse in her mouth. She reached into her backpack and pulled out a water bottle, beginning to drink it while casually leaning against the tree. [Read more] |

Paisley glanced at the stranger, making a sour looking face. "Yup" She huffed, and leaned against a tree a couple over from Maeve, wondering why she was so happy. Her eyes scanned over the rest of the new trainers, seeing most of them were doing their own things. Madeline caught her interest though since she had yet to eat breakfast. Paisley grabbed her backpack off the kitchen counter and sarcastically said goodbye to her parents despite knowing that they were not home, and more importantly didn't care when she left or where she was going anyways. Although she wouldn't show it, she was extremely excited to get her first Pokemon. She had watched all the Pokemon league and championship battles on T.V since she was very young and had taken a liking to a certain Pokemon in particular. She had her eyes set on getting it because it was strong and tough, although she had already forgotten what the pokemon's name was, she could tell by its appearance. Her thoughts were running a thousand miles a minute when she reached the lab, noticing all the others that had already made it before her. [Read more] |

Name: Paisley Rose Thomas Age: 15 Appearance: Paisley is about 5' 6". Her skin is pretty pale which makes her freckles across her nose and cheeks stand out pretty prominently. Her eyes are a dark blue color, looking very blue in direct sunlight while indoors looking quite bland. Her hair is dyed a silver/white and is cut layered and reaches just above her shoulders, although her natural color is a light brown (her roots don't show though, she makes sure of that). She almost always wears a black choker. She often sports an oversized red flannel with mom jeans and white converse. She enjoys wearing what could be described as "hipster" outfits. Personality: Paisley is someone who doesn't like to play by societies rules. She presents as a cold, almost heartless individual who is striving for greatness. She has always wanted to be the best battler and thus wants to avoid weaker pokemon at all costs and wants to constantly up her pokemons levels. She hates the idea of being considered less of a threat because she is a girl. She avoids people at all costs unless for battling them. She hates talking because she thinks that people are just fake anyways and that they just want something from her. Paisley has strong opinions on things that she will make clear. She lacks in that little thing that tells you not to say something before you say it and often insults people because of it. She speaks in a lot of sarcasm, typically to hide her own feelings. Although she is somewhat of a tough cookie to crack open emotionally, it can be done. She can be sweet and funny but it's under a lot of walls that she has built up over the many years of pushing down feelings and hiding her real emotions.
