From his cloak, Lucas can emit a thick mist able to disorient even the most eagle-eyed Pokemon and walk without making a sound, allowing him to not be detected by others. However, when faced with danger, Lucas will lose all of these features and gains a shining suit of silver armor. The sword loses its rust, revealing it to be golden inlaid with sapphires, able to cut through solid stone effortlessly. In exchange for his stealth, Lucas gains a drastic boost to his strength and his speed, able to fight alongside and keep up with even his Mega Salamence. He keeps it short but no matter what he does, it is still incredibly messy. His eyes are a dark green and are sunken in slightly. His constant exploration of the wilderness resulted in his skin to have a significant tan. In his shabby form, Lucas wears a battered and patched up blue cloak with a hood that covered his face. This cloak is lined on the inside with a myriad pockets in which he stores everything from his Pokeballs to medicinal berries. His black pants are in similar condition, with the knees beginning to wear out. He wears gloves and boots that are an extremely faded gold. On his back, he carries a large sword that is covered in layers of rust and has a corroded hilt wrapped in tattered blue cloth. In his crowned form, Lucas wears a full set of shining silver armor. On his head is a winged helm with a brilliant piece of topaz in the center. His tattered cloak is now a royal shade of blue and billows around him like a king’s robe. Under this cloak is a magnificent chestplate that seems to glow from inside the shade of the cloak. His gauntlets and sabatons are of similar luxury. The rusted sword is revealed to be golden underneath and lined with sapphires on its edge. Personality: Lucas is generally a quiet individual, not usually up for conversation. Despite this reserved appearance, Lucas is an adventurous soul, constantly exploring the outdoors and wild areas. He seldom goes to towns or cities, instead camping out in the wilderness for weeks at a time, with only Pokémon as his company. This has forged a strong love of Pokemon within Lucas. Thus, he occasionally hunts down the evil teams that disturb the tranquility of the wilderness he enjoys. When dealing with other people, Lucas is not nearly as tender, often coming off as slightly cold even to his allies. Despite this, Lucas will occasionally help people against a rampaging Pokemon or evil team. He usually has a delicate approach to handling a rampaging Pokemon, seeking to calm down the beast. Against evil teams however, Lucas attacks with ruthless efficiency, for they threaten the Pokemon he cherish. General Skillset: Lucas’s extended life in the wilds molded him into a skilled survivalist, able to run for long distances, swim across rivers, scale mountains, and endure sweltering heat and bitter cold. Lucas is easily able to determine medicinal and edible berries and can set up a campsite quickly. In addition to his wilderness survival skills, Lucas is able to easily form bonds with Pokemon of all kinds. In fact, Lucas travels with far more than six Pokemon in the wild. However, he only chose his six strongest and closest companions to bind to Pokeballs and accompany him on this great mission for he would not risk harm to his weaker friends. The strength of both his Pokemon and the bonds he has with them allow Lucas to be an elite Pokemon trainer, likely capable of making it to Victory Road if he was to ever bother to enter the gym challenge. Weaknesses/Flaws: Lucas has difficulty navigating the winding paths of large cities. He also has difficulty forming bonds with other people, coming off as cold and uncaring when he honestly does not intend to most of the time. Lucas, despite his cunning in other regards, tends to adopt a reckless and straightforward attack policy when dealing with his adversaries, simply charging into battle and relying on brute strength to overcome obstacles unless he is utterly overwhelmed and exhausted. "losing aura" some of most embarrasing moments (on here too) 😖 about "losing aura", and it shows small clips of embarrasing moments that people go through? well im pretty sure that ive been through those situations before, and oh my gosh, you might even get second hand embarrasment one of my embarrasing moments on here (feed related) was when i tried posting a comparison feed about my two carrds, but the bbcode failed and i IMMEDIATELY deleted the feed so fast i told one of my besties about it and we laughed it off then i tried AGAIN and the bbcode STILL wasn't on my side, but then i managed to fix it after a repost, soo problem solved 👍🏾 now, here's one where i was in church the service had ended and i greeted and said my goodbyes to some of the church members one of my church friend's daughter looked at me (shes a baby and shes soo adorablee) so i waved at her and said hi but then she began to cry and even ran away back to her mom, and i felt so bad cause i was like "oh no did i do smth??" so my friend was like "ah don't worry about her!" but i was soo embarrased cause i didn't want people to think that i scared her or anything 😭 anywayss, ill leave it at that LOLL any more embarrasing moments and i would have cringed while typing more .. Very careful about her words and actions and tends to think through the possible scenarios and outcomes of each one. She prefers to walk through her actions before making them, to avoid as many mistakes as possible. She is also a maladaptive daydreamer, and tends to be lost in thought most of the time, and during that time she tends to think up scenarios with imaginary characters and walk through their actions and dialogue, sometimes applying the actions of said characters into her real life. This ability to be lost in an imaginary world while others crave social interaction contributes even more to her cold, distant vibe. General Skillset: A creative, Regan is a natural artist and puzzle solver. She has the ability to hold herself back from rash actions, and likes to think things through. That be actions to take in a scenario or in her relationships, her greatest strength is that she can take her time to come up with creative solutions. Weaknesses/Flaws: Regan stuggles in social settings, and anything that requires a quick solution will cause her to go into a quiet panic. Being honest, you are going to receive backlash for your comment, since a large amount of the PokéHeroes community is supported by artists. Your post was completely unnecessary and uncalled for, especially because she was not asking for criticism on prices or her art. Although I am not an artist, here is what I can say for the artists that I do know, including Lupine. Each artist has a particular style and preference. Some may prefer to draw ferals over humanoids, or vice versa. It does not make them any less skilled as an artist. Everyone has different areas of expertise, but artists are constantly improving their work. With such a large art community online, I can only imagine the pressure to keep up their work as they compare it to others. There is enough comparison in each artists' mind without comments such as yours. Considering the quality of Lupine's art in regards to ferals, I would say her art is reasonably priced in terms of PD. In fact, when customers do order from her, I wouldn't be surprised to see tips being left, based on how much more they see her art being worth. I know plenty of artists who underprice their work, but even as a customer, the price isn't up to me. The price is up to the artist, and they may take feedback from the customer if asked for it. Is her art cheap? No, but that's the point. Good quality art isn't often easy to find, and it won't necessarily cost pocket change for you, even in a Pokémon website. Quite frankly, an artist has to work for their art and the quality results. In return, the price should cost your work in terms of the payment. Regardless of your opinions on Lupine's art or prices, the public forum isn't the place to voice it. A simple DM could have been fine; even so, she never asked for your opinion. Her art quality and prices are not for you to decide. I fully intend on commissioning Lupine once I have enough PD. She is a wonderful friend and artist, and we have worked together many times in the past. I am proud to see how much her art has improved over the years. [Read more] |

also if you don't think much of feral art idk what to say, my character is quite literally a ninetales??? they didnt ask for critique on their art or like...an entire genre or art style? i don't particularly like some art styles but I simply do not order from shops whose styles i don't like fyi my art starts at 200k PD for sprites and I've asked for 500k for a unshaded halfbody. there are PH users willing to pay for art, and art from some of the most popular shops can *start* from 1 mil PD they didn't ask for price comments so this is unsolicited and uncalled for. Shōhei can infuse himself with the energy of a fainted Pokémon within his sight; temporarily gaining the power to use their attacks, wield their ability, and harness their types. In addition, his appearance temporarily changes; taking on features of the Pokémon species he's drawing from. He holds onto this power until either he faints; the Pokémon he's drawing from is healed from fainting; or he willingly ends the Absofusion. Moreover, the drawbacks to this ability are not physical, but instead psychological. Shōhei, being a person without a centralized identity, will begin to crave the feeling of power; the sensation of 'identity' the more he uses Absofusion. If he were to use it for too long; use it too often; or use it on a Pokémon of Legendary or Mythical status, he could risk entirely losing sight of himself. Pokémon Team: ⋆⁺₊⋆ ━━━━⊱༒︎ • ༒︎⊰━━━━ ⋆⁺₊⋆ Appearance: Shōhei is a short man, standing at only roughly 155 centimeters in height. His build is visibly muscular. He has a tan complexion with nearly no visible blemishes, save for a single scar across his nose. This scar is often covered with a bandage or makeup, however, leaving the impression that he truly is untouchable. He has curly, red hair which is typically pulled back into a ponytail. The ends of his bangs and parts of said ponytail are dyed pink, though the color is fast-fading. He has hooded yellow eyes and long eyelashes, with no visible pupils. He still has them, they’re just not exactly the easiest to spot. Their ‘standard’ outfit consists of a green button-up shirt with its sleeves rolled up, a beige vest, brown pants, and brown hiking boots with black laces. They wear black gloves with the fingers being beige, and a brown belt with black loops and a golden buckle. He is frequently seen with a camera attached to a black neck strap, although that isn’t necessary to carry around. What is necessary is the aforementioned nose bandage. Personality: Outwardly friendly, Shōhei portrays himself as a shoulder to lean on and as someone to listen to in times of need. He's protective when it comes to others' happiness and well-being, yet caves instantly the moment he has to offer the same to himself. He is a man who thrives around other people, and is often the life of a party. A charmer and a man of many passions, he only has the goal of seeing others smile, laugh, or have any sort of amused reaction to him and his antics. And yet.. there seems to be something below the surface he’s not letting others in on. His sense of identity is volatile; heavily reliant on what others believe of him. Desperate for approval, Shōhei will do nearly anything short of harming other people just so he can form an idea of who he is. He’s detached from his sense of self; willing to be reckless and not putting in much thought if it means that people will think about him. He gets anxious when people aren’t looking at him — reversing the discomfort of being watched when you’re alone with taking comfort in that sensation. Still, you’d be hard-pressed to hear the truth about it from him. He’s never been above lying to avoid being worried about. Or to protect other people. Whatever you want of him, he’ll do. Just say the word. ESPT-T | 2W3 (THE HOSTESS) | CHAOTIC GOOD General Skillset: Charisma For all of his brash and reckless behavior, Shōhei knows how to move a crowd. While not exactly a leader, he has the capability to inspire hope. It's like he knows just what to say in a moment, when he actually stops to think for a moment. Loyalty While this may seem to clash with his later dishonest and distrustful descriptors, there’s more to him than that. When you can bring him in close, when he does trust you, he’s loyal to almost a fault. Regardless of right and wrong in a situation, he tends to favor the people who give him positive feedback. Physical Strength Shōhei is incredibly strong for someone of his small size. He attributes it to living a particularly active lifestyle; even for a traveling trainer. It's said that he has lifted up a Skeledirge before; although, no one can truly attest to this with visible proof. But you gotta trust him. He totally has. He's sooo cool. Weaknesses/Flaws: Codependence Shōhei is utterly incapable of thriving by himself. He requires at least one person with him at all times, or else he begins to panic; stemming from a past of abandonment and consequently-developed autophobia. He will do nearly anything to avoid being abandoned, and needs to feel wanted. Dishonesty Shōhei has a tendency to embellish certain events in his life to seem more exciting than they actually are. Consequently, his word can’t always be taken at face value as a result. Similarly, he also tends to downplay the impact tragic events have on him. Distrustfulness For all of the empathy and self-sacrifice, Shōhei doesn’t actually trust the people he’s around.. or, most of the people he’s around. This ties directly into his dishonesty; believing others will abandon him if he doesn’t lie and make himself interesting. While he does trust that the people around him won’t hurt him (on purpose) sometimes, he’s terrified of the idea of them leaving him alone. Impulsivity For all of his niceness, Shōhei often does not think before he speaks or acts. To his credit, he has gotten a little better about it compared to his younger days. However, it’s not uncommon for him to blurt out something that could be taken the wrong way, regardless of how apologetic he gets immediately after. Self-Sacrificial To the degree that his own safety comes second until it becomes an instance of life or death. He’ll take the brunt of injuries for other people; accepting vile words and mistreatment, until it becomes a matter of whose survival comes first.
