Hi I am User: Drakonia Num of ocs: One and only. My oc is: Araysh, Mirage of the Distant Past Gender: Non-Binary || He/Him Appearance: Araysh has the reverse color scheme of a normal Mega Absol with white body and dark grey fluff. He has one green ring around his bigger horn and two around his left leg. The rings change color to red under strong emotions, mainly anger. Araysh has green blood and sclera, as well as red pupils which is ironic as it's the same eyes as Arceus has. This does not have any deeper meaning.  You wake up in a field, disoriented and confused, a portal in the sky shuts, now you cant go back, this feels like a dream. Native hisian pokemon can be already living see the hisian Pokedex for more info. Any others come out of the portal that can appear throughout the entire hisian region. It is based in the Hisian region, thus no advanced tech this may consist of phones, cars, tv, modern pokeballs, modern pokecenter healing machines, e.c.t; Some alternatives are telegram or message by pidove, pokemon transport, primitive pokeballs, potions and healing salve or herbal healing. Oc that are NOT allowed, more than two (not counting pets you can have up to two), overpowered (including legendarys, if you are one they will have limitations like if they use their powers Arceus will strike them down), non appropriate ocs (everyone understands this). Ocs that ARE allowed, Pokemon,humans, robots (depends), legendary Pokemon (all but Arceus), villains, and heroes. Araysh || Real Name Aray || Nickname Mirage of the Distant Past || Myths and Legends ~Age/B-day~ 3000 Years Old || Birthday Unknown ~Gender~ Non-Binary || He/Him ~Appearance~ Araysh has the reverse colors of a normal Mega Absol with his white undercoat and black fur over it. His fluff is particularly greasy and covers his left eye. The Absol has eyes with vibrant green sclera and red pupils, as well as a ring that's usually the same shade of green, but changes color to red under strong emotions, usually being anger. He has two of those rings around his left leg too. Speaking of his legs, Araysh has one extra claw on each of his paws and green blood. Araysh is also visible on my current profile picture! ~Personality~ Alone, aloof, afraid. Kind and caring about anyone he deems a friend, but cold and often plain rude to anyone else. Araysh generally doesn't trust people or other Pokemon alike, especially his own kind. He only had bad experiences with them. The Absol is typically cold and extremely introverted, only warming up to those he considers trustworthy of his friendship. Most of the time, he walks around annoyed and generally prefers being left alone. He is very serious individual and often considers jokes as mockery. ~backstory~ Will send privately if asked for. The only thing I can say for now is that it's sort of divided into three parts; Childhood, Mirage and Present Day. Or rather I'd say... Araysh's ability is Justified, partially because of his unending hunger for revenge and partially because his ability is not Super Luck, generally hinting at his unlucky nature. (sorry if this is long btw) Name: Caitlyn Bronze "Cat" Gender: Female Age: 21 Personality: Energetic, sometimes acts childish, brave (unless there's swimming or open electricity involved), protective (or in some cases, overprotective) of her friends. Appearance: Light skinned cyborg human with brown hair. Cybernetics included metal bones (inside), cybernetics arms that transform into weapons, cybernetic ears and tail shaped like a cat's with the tail having a small energy blade (though she won't be using these while on vacation.) Her eyes are also cybernetic, being blue in color. The cybernetics ears can pick up sound from 50 miles away. She still has her human ears. She has a scar on her face (plus other scars, but those won't be seen) On the job, she wears modified clone armor (minus the helmet. It got destroyed.) On vacation, she's wearing a light blue tank top, dark grey shorts, and a pair of sunglasses. She doesn't have a swimsuit. Interests: Action, napping, card games. Extra information: She can turn into a Pyroar, and thus, use its movesets in human form. However, she only uses them lightly outside of battle, since the Fire-type moves tend to cause her to overheat if used for too long. Her cybernetics allow her to translate languages and for her to speak many of them, though she would need to hear several words from the unknown language in order to properly translate/download the entire language. saw a pretty cool looking shiny pokemon, or a lot of pokedollars
for trade. before offering on something you want, check below the
trade to see if the person left a comment about what they're
looking for.
most of the time, traders are ONLY looking for what's specified in their trade comment. pokedollar, nuggets, gems, legendary summons, and mystery items are some of the common things being sought for in the gts! but what if you don't have anything specified in the comment? what if the trader is looking for nuggets, but you don't have any to spare, but you could totally offer pokedollar instead? don't immediately offer what isn't what they're looking for, instead, check the trader's profile if they are okay with being messaged (it could be in their profile page, likely as "palpads open, friendlist only" or "pms open". if they are open to you, you can send them a message about their trade to see if they're okay with what you're offering! an example of such a message could be: feel free to add any details you'd like to the message as long as it's kind and courteous. make sure the subject is related to your message! something like "GTS Trade" or "Trade for _" would be fine! but why do we do this? because trades SPECIFICALLY stating that are looking for something may not accept your offer if it isn't what they're looking for. making it clear with the trader helps avoid misunderstandings and also helps negotiation! here's a quicker section, though! don't lowball! now, what is lowballing, exactly? lowballing is offering something quite obviously not worth what a trade is (an example is offering 500 pokedollar under a pokemon that's worth 500,000.) but what if you don't know what something is worth? how do you stop lowballing if you don't even know how much to offer in the first place? no need to worry! there are helpful resources like toothie's price check guide, although slightly outdated, it works well! you can also use stonks! but.. how do you use stonks? by simply entering the name of the pokemon/item! for shiny/mega-able/shadow types of pokemon, you'll need to add shiny/mega-able/shadow to the pokemon! like so: for items, just put the entire item name in! that way, you'll find out the worth of something in pokedollar, and then you can compare that to the worth of your items to see how much you need to give to have an equal offer! another quick bit is never beg for items/pokemon! when you want something, you need to work for it. never spam someone's messages with "pls can i have _" or "pls can i have 500,000 pokedollar pls pls pls". simple reason why not to: it gets irritating to the users you are begging to, especially if they have "no begging for items" in their profile page. summary: don't immediately offer if you don't have something a trainer is looking for. check their profile instead, and if it states or has their private messages/palpad open, then message them about your offer and see if it'll be fine with them. don't beg for items or pokemon, and don't lowball on items. 2. get more trades done! i right? here are a few tips on getting them done more often! these
aren't 100% guaranteed to work, but they're pretty effective (at
least for me)
i. be clear with what you want! do you want an assortment of random offers? pokedollar only? nuggets and pokedollar? good pokemon and pokedollar? or something ultra specific? make that clear in the "comment" when setting up your trade. just a simple "LF nuggets", "pokedollar" or "LF shiny lunala" can do the trick! it doesn't need to be too much! ii. know worth! different pokemon and items are worth different things. use stonks (mentioned in the previous tip), just scroll until you see the bits related to stonks, if you don't want to read the whole thing. offering something for an equal exchange makes it way more likely for people to make offers! iii. private messages & palpad ever seen someone say "pm to split" or "pp/pm" in their trade comment? that's reffering to palpads and private messages. the palpad is located in the top right bar. it's the red and white book looking icon! the private messages are located under the community tab, and sometimes on the top right side of the bar when you have a new private message. you can keep these open so people can negotiate with you when you have a trade, especially trades with lots of items! "pp/pm to split" refers to letting users palpad or private message you to split the items in a trade. summary: be clear with what you want and specify it in the trade comment when setting up trades, know the worth of what you're trading by using stonks (mentioned in previous tip, feel free to backread up until you spot a short tutorial to use stonks), and lastly, utilize private messages and palpad for trade negotiations and contacting for splitting items. 3. item market Show

make some quick pokedollar? i've got a couple tips.
i. sell low players gravitate towards lower prices. the items that are priced lowest are shown first, above all others. when setting up an item trade, it'll show you the lowest price. setting your trades to be around 100-500 pokedollar makes it more likely for users to buy. ii. bulk deals stocking up on many of the same item can help you get more money. by selling 50 gems instead of five, people might choose to buy more, considering many users tend to buy items in bulk. you'll get bigger payouts! summary: lower your item prices just a little bit, try and make sure that it's the lowest price offered. try to sell things in bulk for bigger payouts. currently a work in progress!
