hi. im jay. artist, writer, coder [primarily in HTML5], aspiring game dev/ecologist but unfortunately currently an unemployed highschooler.
i've been on this site for 2 years, but i've pretty much only just started out, as i kept forgetting it existed for a while and was mostly inactive. i'm trying to be more active again.
i've been a pokemon fan for most of my life, originally playing the first few games [pokemon yellow was my first, i think] when i was a wee lad on some random retro games website and being hooked ever since. my favorite game is omega ruby, and primarily i like to play fangames and research the competitive pokemon scene.
if you couldn't somehow tell from my username and profile theme, my favorite pokemon is volcarona. i feel a heavy attachment to it. i even own the sitting cuties volcarona plushy, which i take almost everywhere <3
i enjoy talking to people and am open to a random conversation about whatever - if you want topics, i'm a gamer [though i don't have the skill or computer power to play most games] and deeply invested in topics like OSHA [yes, the american workplace safety organization], nuclear power plants, hazmat suits and PPE, websites, and GIFs and internet archival.
please keep in mind i'm autistic, have ADHD, and anxiety. this makes talking to people somewhat challenging.
