remember that headboard i was excited about? and spent 2 whole days putting together and putting coats of paint on????
well it wouldn't fit the shelf and when i tried to unscrew the top to fit the shelf in, after the instructions said to nail in a piece of the back of it, the nails pulled up most of the wood and i got upset and pushed it over so now it's broken in my room :)

So I ordered a headboard that has like little cubbies/nightstand-like features because I can't have nightstands because my bedframe has drawers and I'm tired of having all of my stuff (like my remotes, my phone while it's charging) on the floor and such, but the only color I could order it in is white and everything in my room is black.

BUT my mom gave me this awesome idea to paint the headboard with black chalk paint and then I'll have a chalkboard and a headboard and I'm very excited now <3 It should be here by January 9th.
