Shaymin Returns to Emera Town
... with exciting new discoveries
Shaymin has returned to Emera Town, bringing its biennial gifts to kind-hearted trainers! As always, you can choose between: A Shaymin egg, a Shaysola egg, a Gracidea Flower, or a Shaymin Plushie. Remember, collecting Shaymin Plushies first will steadily increase your shiny odds for when you eventually claim a Shaymin egg - patience pays off!

This year brings a helpful discovery: warming eggs now increases your Shaymin encounter odds by 15% (compared to training Pokémon), while feeding berries to your Pokémon provides an even better 30% boost! This event runs until September 10th, 10AM.

But that's not all - mysterious sightings have been reported from the marshes near Emera Town. A graceful new form has been seen floating among the wetlands... This special variant can only be obtained through the Event Distribution by collecting activity points until September 4th at 10AM. What exactly is this serene creature? You'll have to discover it for yourself! (This new Event Pokémon is a winning contest submission created by Visitor)

The elusive Pokémon Gimmighoul has returned to Emera Town, drawn by the allure of shiny coins and the excitement of the Easter season! But where could these mischievous creatures be hiding? In Rowan's Lab? Among other Pokémon at the Auction House? Tucked away in your Item Bag? Or perhaps even lurking in your account settings? Who knows? Keep your eyes peeled and your wits about you, for Gimmighoul could be anywhere!

Stories tell of magical gold coins that shine with a special light, believed to be why Gimmighoul has come to our town. Trainers everywhere have shared stories of finding these coins hidden among their Pokémon eggs, calling them Gimmicoins. Are you ready to take on the challenge and find these legendary treasures?

This year, we're thrilled to introduce several exciting changes based on last year's feedback. Instead of being able to find just one Gimmighoul per day, there is now always a group of 5 Gimmighoul hiding for a duration of 4 days! Additionally, earn 10 Gimmicoins daily by interacting with at least 500 Pokémon or eggs – a fun and engaging way to boost your coin collection! Lastly, we've also extended the event period from 12 to 16 days, giving you even more time to hunt for Gimmighoul and gather those precious Gimmicoins. We hope you will enjoy these changes.

Get ready, Trainers! Starting April 12th and lasting for two full weeks, Shadow Mewtwo (Kanto), Shadow Ho-oh and Shadow Lugia (Johto), as well as Shadow Latias and Shadow Latios (Hoenn), will have a greatly increased chance of appearing on the Shadow Radar!

Don't forget, the Shadow Radar is a crucial item you can get from the item shop once you hit trainer level 20. Plus, you'll need the Johto and Hoenn Shadow Radar upgrades to encounter these legendary Pokémon from their respective regions.

Shadow Hoenn Pokémon have emerged, ready to be discovered and caught. To embark on this hunt, trainers will need the Shadow Radar and the newly available Shadow Radar Upgrade for Hoenn, now stocked at the Item Shop. The upgrade becomes available after having bought the Johto upgrade.

New Paradox Research
Iron Moth and Slither Wing
Professor Sada and Professor Turo are back with a new Paldean Research Task: For a limited time, you can get the past Pokémon Slither Wing and/or the future Pokémon Iron Moth by helping them with their studies. As always, they have a great interest in Pokemon eggs obtained from Rowan's Lab. They claim there's something awfully... paradox about them.
These quests are available to trainers of level 35 or higher who have completed either the Koraidon Quest or Miraidon Quest (or both). Both quests can be repeated as often as you want until May 31st, and both Pokémon come with a 10% shiny chance. Good luck!
