My higher or lower game was bugged the whole time; it was stuck on “new number is 7”

I only continued to 255, because I saw the first place user on the ranklist had the same number, and I suspected something was wrong. Turns out I was right; it gets stuck at 255. (Probably because no one is expected to get that high). I would’ve stopped earlier if there wasn’t someone else with such a high chain on the ranklist, I wasn’t abusing the bug.

My last (legitimate) chain was 55. You can reset my ranklist score to that, and remove the game chips earned.

The other user on the ranklist with chain 255 should be removed from the ranklist. Possibly the user with chain 61 as well, as that was within a similar time period. (It’s possible they got bored of clicking the ‘higher’ over and over, and stopped playing. They’re a new user with 50 minutes of game time who hasn’t logged in since, so it shouldn’t matter anyways)

I was on a mobile device when this happened. Didn’t happen earlier when I was playing on a desktop device.

Edit: it keeps happening on mobile (same numbers)
Oh wait, one of my Gimmighoul is on the HoL page, that’s likely the cause.

Edit #2: Claimed my Gimmighoul, and the game works properly again.

I assume a quick solution would be to remove HoL from the pool of Gimmighoul locations. (I’m not sure if it’s possible to reset just one link. I personally have found all my Gimmighoul, but don’t have storage space to adopt them. If you reset all Gimmighouls, it’d be a bit unfair to those who’re like me, found them, but haven’t claimed them.)
