Terastallization!
You all might be pretty familiar with this addition to the pokemon world, if you have stay tuned with the paldea region and paradox Pokémon.
This is a brand-new feature which allows you to change a poke to another type you wish, which includes:
<—Mewtwo Tera-d into fairy type to deal with a rock dark dual type.

Grass · Ice · Fighting · Poison · Ground · Flying · Psychic · Bug ·
Rock · Ghost · Dragon · Dark · Steel · Fairy · Stellar
You make switch a poke to any of these 19 types once every battle, while it's type effectiveness varies according to it's current tera type.
Now over to the most interesting part:
What are the items essential to do so?

We will need a tera orb, and 19 tera
shards of each type.
The tera orb is the key item to terastallization. Each shard you currently have in your inventory will determine which type you can tera a poke into.

How do we obtain them?

To fully take part in this thrilling
tera thing, you first have to get a tera orb from Prof. Rowan.
The new quest:
This quest is given by Prof. Rowan randomly while you visit his lab after reaching trainer level 30 AND get at least 5 certificates to prove your worthy.
He will then provide you with various tasks that are unable to be skipped to find the eight glimmet crystals (key item) he lost. After you return the crystals to Rowan, you will obtain the tera orb (key item).
Afterwards, you have to obtain the tera shards.
The second quest:
The tera shards can be fished up in the emera beach, obtained from making a wish in the fountain, catching shadow pokemon, harvesting berries in the berry garden... to obtain different types of shards. However, you can only do so after getting tera orb.

I'm not sure how the terastallization is going to work because won't that mean the spriters have to make new sprites for all of the pokemons? That will take a long time unless its only for certain pokemons.
But yeah the terastallization is a good idea.

However, I think it is enough just to make a little sprite beside the Pokémon that has Tera-d. I’ll make a sample.

But
Unlike other gimmicks, for example dynamaxing, they are considerably less complicated when it comes to design and functionality, due to the Pokemon simply getting a new coat of paint with more health, and getting access to 'special' moves that are essentially the same move but more powerful and a added boost effect. and not to mention the z moves which one of the most disappointing ones in my personal opinion, seeing how you literally only get to use one in every battle, which I can understand why because more powerful but still kind of dumb you can only use them once and not again. terastallization has been one of the more complex gimmicks next to mega evolution, due to them actually staying in this form until defeated, which definitely justifies being able to use them once a lot more than others, yet this gimmicks though was intentionally designed for a main game, as all they needed to do was to pull up all the Pokemon models, add the hat, add the crystal effect and done, which is definitely possible seeing how many people working there and having teams to do that, plus they stopped doing the natural dex. But for a site? yeah I sadly don't see this ever happening as it not the fact that it's complicated to add a simple little symbol, but really the fact of having to do it for every Pokemon on this site and there's definitely not a big enough team to do that, seeing how they would have to go to every Pokemon's code and then add each and every type to it.
Love the idea but it was designed for a main game for a reason.
