The Iterals all give a disappointed sigh, then thinking again. Some
had the idea of giving him a drone, others to transfer his
conscience into another body, some even said going back in time to
prevent the curse. Then, the eldest asked:
"How come you're all fixated on freeing him?"
The original replied:
"... It would be great for the two to enjoy the aurora. Or life
outside."

"Ah, how generous of you all to think about our lives, but we have
things to do, you see..." Auspice let out a sigh, looking up upon
platforms with many Scorn watching them. "HE... he has duties to
do... breaking the curse would be... well... sort of pointless,
because the Witness, I don't assume you know it is, but it has
tasked Rhulk to preform experiments on Scorn. The Witness is kind
of like... well... his god, so... like I said, freeing him would be
quite pointless."
The eldest spoke again. "What if we assist him then? If research
speeds up, maybe his curse lasts shorter?" The other Iterals
immediately thought about that, ideas for the Scorn.

"I guess thats one way to put it. Either way or another, all
Disciples of the Witness are supposed to be homed/stationed almost
all the time within their Pyramids. Much to Rhulk's dismay, he
didn't want his Pyramid ship to land here, and it has been here for
eons, which explains all the moss and stuff at the entrance. This
Pyramid is sunken."
One of the Iterals made a rectangle again with her fingers, looking
around. "Well, this place is going to stay intact for some time...
Rhulk... damn, you have a really strong kick... Auspice... nice...
hmmm..." She goes on, looking around while the others think again.
"We could go forward in time to see if you can leave soon."

"I have a really strong kick literally
too. Thank you, errrr... many Iterals...? Well, I suppose Auspice
and I are going to check in on the progress of the experiments and
make sure everything is stable. Would you like to come, Iterals? I
would prefer one of you. I don't want many copies of you following
me around like little ducklings." The Lubraean spoke softly
before putting Auspice on his shoulder.
"Sure. You can clock out." Most Iterals leave except for the
original, who laughs a bit. "Mind if I occupy the other shoulder?"
It was clear she meant it as a joke.

"No." Was Rhulk's aggressive,
simple response. Even if Iteral was a friend, he still kept his
harsh nature. "Aye, at least help her get around though~!" Auspice
let out a chuckle as the started to move across platforms.
"Fine. Come with me." He grumbled,
walking off the edge of the platform, now walking on the air.
Thankfully, Iteral could walk on air too with Rhulk in her
presence.
Iteral walks around with no sweat, it was unsure if she even knew
Rhulk was the reason she didn't plummet. But she just follows
around, smiling. "I was just kidding~"

After minutes of walking, they made it to this room, and at the far end of it was the
Caretaker, sitting on the ground and gazing
down at the Scorn. It was quite huge, being 27 ft. tall. "Now, this
here, Iteral, is the Caretaker. A successful fusion between dark
power and a Scorn abomination!" Auspice sounded quite excited,
because even if this creature was huge, it was actually very
gentle.
"It likes everyone~ except intruders..." Auspice giggled, watching
the Caretaker interact with Iteral.
The Caretaker looked over at Iteral. It notices that Iteral would
like a handshake, so it extends its claws out to her, offering its
finger to her due to its size.
"You're quite the tall one! I'm sure it's difficult finding clothes
in your size!" She laughs, trying to make him talk with a joke of
hers. "Suits you though, a caretaker of that size, you can hold a
lot of people in your arms!"

The Caretaker tilted its head. I didn't know what clothes were, and
it was curious about what clothes were. It let out a small cooing
noise when iteral mentioned that it could probably lift a lot of
people, and it could.
"Heh, I figured. Shame, I bet he'd be a blast at karaoke." Iteral
laughs, pretending to hold a mic and proceeding to sing a line from
"Fiend like Me" and acting about as dramatic as a stage actress.
She was... quite the performer.

The Caretaker watched curiously, confused at what Iteral was doing.
It stared at her intensely, as if it was trying to memorize or
analyze what she was doing. Even with a powerful experiment such as
the Caretaker, it still had lots to learn.
Auspice just let out a sigh at what Iteral was doing, getting quite
embarrassed.
"Huh?" Iteral turns to Rhulk, laughing a bit embarrassed herself.
"Thought that, maybe since he can't talk... maybe some sign
language or acting would be in order. Sounds dumb... but you'd be
surprised."

"Thats impossible. The Caretaker is unable
to learn sign langua-" Rhulk was stopped when the Caretaker
already learned sign language, using it large hands to say 'hello'.
"Oooh he learns fast!" Iteral herself didn't know too much sign
language, but she knew a couple words. One includes the word
'caretaker', which she signed at him followed by "you are".

The Caretaker 'responded' back with its sign language, rather
slowly due to its size. "Yes, I am... Caretaker. I make sure
everything is in order." It cooed softly after its response.
