For millennia, the largest nation, Macedon, has existed peacefully. Each kingdom lives in harmony with one another, neither conflict nor war has broken out in eons.
But…
A man from a foreign land, who calls himself and his cause Legion, has captured the Saint Deity of your realm and taken over her castle in the heart of the land, a place that is far too sacred and unknown to traverse. He's overrun Macedon with his people, planning on wiping every kingdom off of the map, while using the powers of the Saint Deity to his own advantage.
Will you defend and honor your kingdom, as well as your land's guardian, or will you help Legion and take over the nation?

Curly hair and unintimidating stature aside, she looks like just your average military career.

A stern, fierce woman with a biting tongue and cold, clinical attitude. She looks out for the benefits of Snavia- and that's it. She's quick-witted and returns insults easily, with no thought to the consequence. She's not much of a diplomat for this reason- but her intimidating presence and ease with which she follows through with violence helps her maintain power, regardless of the political circle she's murdered her way through. She's pragmatic and utilitarian, focusing on what will benefit the whole rather than the individual. A terrifying woman with few obvious morals.

A sweet-tongued, bright person with a delightful, optimistic outlook. Or at least that's how she introduces herself. After she gets bored with someone, she drops them, with a couple of insults to spare. With full intentions. She's petulant and rude, and if someone manages to anger her, she'll be furious with them. This isn't exactly a bad thing, however- She'll become obsessed with the person who has wronged her, even to the point of protecting and caring for that person. She'll claim it's just so that she'll be the one to take them down... But deep down, she has a deep sense of honour, and she'd never let anyone whom she feels she owes something to have their debt go unpaid.

Abilities: Isla has two powers- to summon the souls of the dead, and split her own soul from her body. Each presents unique opportunities in how she utilizes them.
[Soul Summoning]: Isla can bring back deceased persons and obtain information from them, and/or have them fight on her behalf. Whatever magic the soul retained after death can be utilized against her opponents, though the soul will dissipate after all magic is used. The stronger a soul's emotions at death, the stronger chance they have to fight her will. A soul which knows Isla is strong enough to maintain a sense of self, and is capable of possessing objects or people, should their magic and self-control have been strong enough at their moment of death.
[Split Soul]: Isla can split her soul from her body. This is her ace in the hole- when in mortal danger, she'll leave her body, and wait until her attacker is certain she's dead- upon which she'll use her own magic and willpower within her soul to heal her body, and return to it. The downside, however, is that if one is aware of this power, her soul is incredibly vulnerable. Anyone with magic capable of manipulating the dead or the living can seize control of her- and as a common magic amongst the priests of Snavia, it's not a good kryptonite to have. In addition, she cannot leave her body for long. It is technically "dead" while she is gone, and will undergo the process of rigor mortis. She keeps her magic under tight wraps to conceal this weakness, and usually kills the person who "killed" her, to keep information out- but the undercurrents of Snavian society are generally well aware of the magic she has been assigned.

-Backstory: Isla Greer was a major General in the minor Kingdom of Snavia. The King himself commemorated her achievements, praising her as a highly dedicated subject, even offering her control of the entire East District- an honour she turned down with a knife through his chest. Isla's spy network alongside the Macedon border enabled her to predict the arrival of the Legion- and on the night of the attack, she utilized the unease amongst her people to crush opposition and claim her position as Queen of Snavia. She is in the process of re-establishing the bureaucracy, crushing countless resistance factions, and preparing a living and undead army.

Appearance: Adrik is fairly tall, but lanky, with angular and skinny proportions, contrasted against a large and jutting head. He has light brown, bordering dirty blonde hair that's shaggy and about chin length. His eyes are brown and owl-like behind the round glasses he adorns. He wears turtlenecks commonly and has a fondness for vests. Anything nerdy and comfortable.

Personality: Adrik's a social butterfly kind of person who's all about making friends and having fun. He's socialable and easygoing, often teasing others and playing practical pranks and making jokes. Despite this, however, he's a rather insecure person, due to the bullying he experienced back in his hometown, outside the main city of Snavia. He lacks social graces and often is viewed as "weird" or "stalkerish"- something that tends to turn people off. He feels his motivations of better befriending people are innocent and this difference in feeling has made him rather distrustful of others, despite his intense longing to form humann connection. Still though, if anyone treats him kindly, this distrustful soul will be very clingy and desperate for attention. He doesn't like forming negative opinions or picking sides regardless of whom he closest to, and tends to act as a mediator. He enjoys reading and is deeply invested in the study of magicks, even though he lacks power himself.

Abilities: No power. He has a low level of magic which implies he has the potential to awaken something relatively weak, but he had displayed nothing beyond an average human's capabilities.

-Backstory: Adrik was born to an unnamed couple in a small town on the outskirts of Legion. He showed total ineptitude at magic at a young age which disappointed his parents, who had both graduated from special schools and had prodigious talent from childhood on. They enrolled him in a well-known school in the hopes of mending this. Adrik failed from right-on, his grades plummeting with each magical test. He aced most examinations that tested your mind, his determination to prove that he could be competent to his parents sending him on many studious spirals. However, tests that were based on any ability remotely magical were where he failed. Ds. Fs. Never could he get anything resembling a passing grade. And each time, his parents would shake their heads and he would spend the next night studying, trying desperately to prove he could learn. There was a major incident that made the news. A famous magician who was exposed as a fraud. No magic. Just petty tricks that gave the illusion of it.
Adrik had an idea.
Soon, he could ace his tests in every area. His newfound "strength enhancement" skill impressed everybody. His parents, now divorced, did not care much, since they both had new lives and new children. Still, for the first time, Adrik was happy. But even with this, he could never make friends. As he grew older, his high grades and somewhat boring abilities seemed to drive others away from him. He resorted to stalking people to discover how to befriend them, and that merely earned him an even worse reputation and heightened the bullying. Lonely, he swore that one day he would become so famous that no one could possibly ignore him. When he was sent an offer to join St. Riel's, a famous academy for magic students within Ayeriel, there was no hesitation. He packed his bags, waved goodbye to his mother, and took a carriage to an entirely different country And that is where Adrik's story begins. As a student at this latest school, ready to make a name for himself. Nothing, no one, will stop him from the love he's been deprived of during his life.
That is, until a certain project was made known to him. "Political upheaval is constant within modern day society. Create a presentation..." A project clearly designed for last year, before the entire world fell to pieces. The irony in that statement was not missed within his classmates. Everyone murmured and muttered, but Adrik knew one thing- he was going to be top student this month.
So he decided to interview a few people! Just some of Queen Greer's supporters- you know, random guards! But they seemed to misunderstand him because of his bad Ayerielan or something

Personality: Setsuna is an erratic, nervous person. He has a distorted view of the world- a conspiracy theorist, to put it simply. He doesn't understand very basic things, like how to properly communicate with people or common etiquette- but he's very knowledgeable about languages and how to make your way through upper class society. He's bright and cheerful, even though he stumbles over his words a lot. He's somewhat desperate for friends, while simultaneously being aloof and often goes above and beyond for people, without understanding of how they might be treating him and how it might actually come off. Most of his thoughts linger on a. self hatred or b. excessively happy things. Yet when trauma does hit him- and trust me, it will- he goes into a downward spiral of terror and often becomes incapable of moving on.

Abilities: Light manipulation. He can create things out of the light around him, though the object usually last for around three-five minutes depending on how much he created. All objects he creates will be glowy and translucent and they will not have their original colors. Strangely, his powers get stronger in the Moonlight instead of in the sun.
