School for Good and Evil ~ Roleplay
Forum-Index → Roleplay → School for Good and Evil ~ RoleplaySo it seemed that both her Dean and her new friend appreciated a good bit of mischief. Well, the feeling was mutual. Cath was excited to see what would come from this new development.
But then she sensed it. Blood. Sharp and tangy, coming from the palm of Kendo's hand. She closed her eyes, and could sense the cuts from the blade on his fingers. A nervous habit, perhaps?
Her talent was weird. Not only could she do blood magic, and make potions more powerful with her affinity for blood, but Cath could sense the origin of every injury anyone had on their person. There was no normal way to bring it up in conversation, especially given the fact that she wasn't a vampire.
She whistled, and AB Negative soared through the air. He was the stymph that has taken Cath to the school a few hours ago. She tossed the bird a piece of her lunch, and he squawked appreciatively.
"So what's the plan?" She already had an arsenal of readymade insults that she was prepared to dispense lovingly, but she wasn't sure how Kendo would react. Time would tell.

Without waiting for an answer, he continued.
”I can manipulate my own blood… amongst other things. I can use it as a weapon, to stab through people. It’s quite useful, if I say so myself. Essentially, if you step on a drop of my blood, I can make it feel like you just got stabbed through the foot with a spike. Now, guess what im gonna do.”

She could predict what he was going to do to the laughing Evers. And Cath wasnt going to do anything to stop him. A smile played on her lips, as she leaned back in her seat with an exaggerated sigh.
"Hmm, let's see. If I guessed, then I'd be correct. And that would spoil the surprise. So by all means, do continue." She lowered her voice to a whisper. "I too have an odd relationship with blood... all blood. Of course, mine can't stab people. Let me know if you want any... assistance. Or simply, a second layer to the prank. Escalation is a Never's specialty, after all."

”I like the way you think! Now then… let’s cause some… mischief, shall we?”
With a subtle flick of his hands, the drops of blood across the floor suddenly lurched upwards, turning into sharp red spikes.

Why did only the boys have to fight? She could fight perfectly well with a sword, maybe better than most of that pathetic lot. And she was going to make that clear. But not now. Now she had more important matters to worry about.
Walking over and tapping Kendo on the shoulder, she smiled sweetly and said, "Now, the first display was good and all, but it's only the first day. Maybe save some of the fun for later."
All the Evers continued their gossiping, not even noticing the spikes.
She kept an eye on Kendo, whatever he was up to, it wasn't good. Yes, harmless fun pranks were okay, but by the looks of those blood-spikes, it didn't look like that was what he was planning. Also, there was that girl next to him. Cath, was it? She seemed... Interested, in the blood. Another sign that something was about to go down.
Taking a seat at the table next to a blue haired boy, the one from the duel just now, Athena felt all the attention go to her. As expected. Ignoring the stares and whispers, she smiled at the boy and introduced herself.
This must've seemed strange to everyone else, a Never, a pretty one at that, sitting down with two Evers. He noted the worry etched across Athena's face.
"Don't you worry your head off, little Ever. The blood spikes won't hurt them... not too badly, anyways."
