This was probably the strangest scene the students had ever seen. A guard chasing a student. The HM had really blown her top this time. Really. Even Kendo had never gotten this treatment. Athena dodged and jumped, finally reaching a ladder that reached up to the roofs. She had wanted to keep her method of transportation secret, but this was an emergency situation. Scrambling up the ladder, she reached the top and leapt away across the roofs. The guards armor would not allow him to climb the ladder. She was safe, at least for the moment. But then... The guard launched himself up into the sky and flew after her. He could fly!? Running wasn't an option anymore, now was the time for straight up dueling. Drawing her sword, Athena skidded to a stop in the middle of a large flat roof, ideal space for battle. It was almost dark now, she could began to feel her magic recharging.

"Ayo what?! Someone is dueling a guard, Summon Binoculars! Wait..." Sobble looks through the binoculars. "Is that Athena!? Why would a guard be chasing her? I should probably go investigate. Descend!" Sobble descends back to the ground. He was really curious to see why Athena was dueling with a guard. "Speed Enhance!" Sparks appear on Sobble's body and Sobble puts on a smirk. The kind that says that someone was about to do something big. "Calico come here!" Calico jumps into Sobble's hands. "Let's go!" Sobble runs towards the "scene" where everyone was at. "Neutralize." Sobble sparks go away.

The guard wasn't as fast as Athena, which was a relief. His defenses were crazy though, and her blade wasn't making a dent in his armor. He was even wearing a helmet! But the stars were out, and Athena had almost unlimited power. She summoned a flash of light, which blinded the guard. She only wanted to knock him out, not cause serious damage. Falling off the roof should be fine for him. Flashing another blast when he started coming to, this one stronger, she make him dizzy. Then she charged at him and used her blade to push him off the roof. He was dizzy, and didn't have time to regain balance to fly before hitting the ground hard. The building under Athena shook. Some students screamed and ran away. Athena gracefully dropped to the ground, and checked that the guard was unconscious, before sprinting away. She was not in the mood to talk to anyone.

The guard slowly got up. That little punk had gotten away. "Where is she?" He glowered at the crowd menacingly, and some students pointed in the direction Athena had gone. The guard lumbered away.

Athena had climbed up onto the roof into a spot by a chimney. It had a passage that led to her secret lab. She'd spelled a magical boundary around it. No one would be able to see inside the boundary, get into it, remove it, or track anything inside it, unless given permission by her. She could see out, but nobody could see in. It was her favorite spot to go to at night, the chimney made a perfect backrest. Even with the boundary, she was nervous. This spot was technically still in open air. Her sword at the ready, she scanned the roofs, hoping that nothing would give her away.

"Eh, I should get back to my dorm. Probably sleep time now. Come on Calico." Sobble runs back to his dorm and falls onto the bed.

Athena held her breath as the guard came almost within the barrier. Then, the magic kicked in and he ignored the space. Finally, he lumbered away into the distance. Athena let out a sigh of relief. Now that the whole ordeal was over, she felt like it had drained all her energy. Slumping against the chimney, she watched the stars.

Headmistress Stanpnacia growled. Her guard had returned empty handed. This was a first. It was also the first time she'd sent a guard after someone. The chain of events these few days were just too much. She couldn't believe that sneaky little girl had just slipped through her fingers. The tracker wasn't any use anymore either. She knew something that would be able to keep Athena in line though, or someone, to be specific. Picking up her communication device, she called the council.

Lucinda was bored, she could NEVER keep up with all the drama going on. She was probably too focused on her school work. But tonight she was definitely not oblivious to the guard chasing Athena. She knew Athena had gotten away, Lucinda admired Athena’s nerves. Then she heard some movement on the roof. She grinned, someone was on the roof, as normal, and probably Athena if she guessed right. Not wanting to disturb anyone, she just went back to reading, keeping to herself as normal, not trying to attract attention to herself as she stared at the stars outside of the window. Wishing exciting things would happen to her. No one really came through this corridor, not that it was restricted but just no one really knew about it. It was more a shortcut then a corridor. She sighed and turned, heading to her dorm room, probably go read more books.

Sophie had never had much respect for the Headmistress, but after today, the exact value has decreased to zero. Students streamed by her, going to their dormitories. She was going to call the council... interesting. And also entirely unnecessary. What an idiot.

Whistling a quiet tune, Sophie enchanted the paper airplane she folded to hit Stanpnacia's head.

She walked through the now empty hallways. Well then... If she were Athena, where would she be? Sophie turned a few corners, seeming to be wandering aimlessly. Then, entering the girls bathrooms, she pulled a lever. The toilet recessed, and she walked into a passageway, tangled with plumbing.

"Hello, Athena." The last time she had spoken to the girl was during the assembly. "Perhaps I'm just an ignorant transfer student, so correct me if I'm wrong. But after tonight, I really think this school needs a change in leadership... don't you?"

Sophie's smiled evaporated quickly. "Also, Stanpnacia called in the council."
It was never meant to be.

The ground under her vibrated slightly. Then Cath's voice spoke. She was really smart, using the plumbing like that. It went pretty much everywhere, and carried sound well. She was probably in the normal spot used for sending 'plumbing messages'. Athena cautiously lowered herself down into her lab, and was about to head towards the spot, when she realized that she probably had a tracker on her. She would be revealing the location of the spot if she headed there now. Pulling out her communicator, she sent Cath a quick message, "I'll talk to you later, I've got to find a way to get rid of this tracker first." Then she sent Kendo a message, "I think I've got a tracker on me. I can't locate it. Care to help?"

Waiting for a reply, she thought about what Cath had said. Yes, the school definitely needed a change in leadership. And what was the other part? Stanpnacia had called the council? That could only mean one thing. And it was bad, very bad.
