ok so i want to hunt for a shiny mega, but i've noticed that the only people with them have/had premium. is it possible to hunt for shiny megas without premium (and it would just be very tedious and expensive with your pokeradar resetting every time you hatch a shiny) or are they member-only? thanks!! :)

Everybody can shiny-mega-hunt :) It is a lot easier with premium, because (as you said) the shiny chain doesnt reset, and it can take approx. 1000 eggs (on average, in my experience) to get a shiny mega.

You can do it but just insanely expensive and takes way too long

I recommend only shiny mega hunting with premium + mega cuff, if not itll be RLY hard

Well I shiny hunted my sm candaria without flutes or premium. Took me 15 months under 200 eggs. But i had no other shiny or mega in that chain. It was only one chain too so. It is possible BUT would take months just like what I did

I was very inactive those 15 months btw. Like login for 5 min 2-5 times a day just to check on eggs

Also this was before the fountain and mega cuff were even a thing
