If this were a world where pokemon existed, what kind of pokemon
related profession would you want, and if you were a trainer, what
kind of pokemon would you train?
I guess I’d be the nurse at a Pokémon Center? Just because all they
have to do in any of the games is just take trainers’ Poké Balls
and put them on that machine and let them sit there for a few
seconds and then hand them back. I wouldn’t choose that job if they
actually have to do any medical stuff. I’d only do it if literally
all they have to do is toss the injured Pokémon in their Poké Balls
onto that healing machine and they never actually have to see any
injured Pokémon. (Although I really don’t see why this job even
exists, considering that the trainers could just put their own Poké
Balls on the machine themselves. Maybe there’s some technical
knowledge and expertise about how to operate the machine required,
which I would be fine with.) And I assume they get a salary from
the government or the Elite Four/Champion, considering that they
provide this service for free. If they don’t actually get paid,
then obviously I wouldn’t choose that job. And I don’t think I’d be
much of a trainer ‘cause I’d care about my Pokémon and not want
them to get hurt in battle. I mean, I haven’t even bought the Vs.
Seeker here, because I don’t want to battle at all, I just want to
collect Pokémon, but you can’t collect Pokémon without battling in
the games.
