Aaron knew he had to find Jackie, he just didn't want to do it. Of course, he had to, but still. . .
Aaron thought.
There was something he knew of that he could try, but he didn't know if it would work. He would have to see. Calling out with his mind, he searched for Jackie.
Jackie. . . Jackie, are you there? Can you hear me?
Yes, sis. It's me. I'm back.
"How have you been, girls?"
"been getting up to any mischief lately?"
Aaron already knew these things- He was fond of watching them when he was bored.
"I leave you two alone for a year and a half and you do this?"
He shook his head in fake surrender.
"Guess you can handle yourselves."
With a grin, he grabbed Junko by the waist and swung her around, tickling her ribs.
"It's Ok, Jackie. I'm not blaming you for anything."
He widened his eyes.
"Wait a minute. Since WHEN have you been tall enough to LOOK ME IN THE EYES?!?"
Bright lights appeared out of nowhere.
Sounds of gunshots filled the air.
Soldiers, clad in black, swarmed the area.
They seemed to be police.
They were looking, looking for a convict who escaped.
A deadly assassin.
Where was she?

Lin prowled further and further into the woods, seething with anger.
She growled at the sound of voices.
It sounded like Jackie, Junko and a stranger.
Lin sighed and turned away from the noise, moving to an area where she could be alone.
And be herself.
Her true self.
---------------------------------------
No matter how hard her tried, he couldn't move.
Tears sprung from his eyes.
He gritted his teeth, his muscles straining.
The agony consumed him.
"Adrik!"
Kaden finally yelled.
His eyes landed on Kaden.
"Finally. I thought I would be stuck here forever."
He muttered.
"A little help? My limbs have turned into stone."

Mirej gasped.
She lay flat on the grass, and tried to hid herself from the guards.
Her heart was racing.
Ba-bum. Ba-bum. Ba-bum.
Her breaths were increasing rapidly.
Suddenly, a loud shout came from near her.
They had found Mirej.
She let out a shriek.
Gunshots filled the air again.
She ran across the field, running for her life.
Bullets whizzed past her shoulder.
Her ears were ringing.
She ducked behind a tree, gasping for breath.
The voices were growing louder.
But she couldn't see anyone.
Had she escaped?
Mirej looked behind her, and couldn't see anyone.
She smiled.
She had eva-
A large spike of pain blossomed on her chest.
Her shirt was slowly turning crimson.
She let out a small gasp of fear and pain.
The bang of the gun filled her ears.
Her legs turned to jelly.
She fell to the ground, in what felt like slow motion.
Still conscious, she started to crawl on the forest floor.
...
......
She went on further, her knees scraping the dirt.
Tears running down her face.
Finally, the voices grew faint.
She curled up in a ball, behind a bush, deep into the forest.
Her breaths decreased.
Her eyes fell to the bullet hole in her chest.
The crimson stains on her shirt.
Mirej was too far away, to have anyone save her now.
She squeezed her eyes shut, wishing the pain away.
Wishing for something to happen.
A miracle.
Her knight in shining armour to rescue her, perhaps.
Her head slowly sank to the ground.
Her limbs relaxed.
She was too far away from anyone.
.....
......
From hope.
From salvation.
The pain would stay.
She wished it wouldn't, but what good would wishes be now, to her?
A silly fantasy.
The tears ran down her face.
She let out a scream of pain-
Of frustration.
Desperation.
Depression.
(Anything else that ends in tion-)
Mirej wished, more than ever-
That she could have a happy ending.
That her prince, her knight-
In shining golden armour-
Would save her.
"It's just a silly fantasy-
Stupid silly fantasy."
She whispered to herself.
Just a silly fantasy.
Stupid silly fantasy.
Stupid silly fantasy.
Stupid...
Silly...
Fantasy..."
..........
"You...okay?"
He asked uncertainly.
He took the hand thankfully.
Kaden gritted his teeth, and pulled himself up.
He lout a shout of pain, and stumbled back, clutching his side.
Oh god. It's been so long since I was last stabbed, I've forgotten how it feels like."
He joked.
