Question about Staid

So I know what Staid looks like and
where he should appear, I know he's not tied to a specific style or
fishing in emera beach, but something I've been wondering whenever
I make a point of looking for him specifically is if
refreshing the page can make him spawn or if you have to
load a new page in order for him to spawn. I don't want to
spend a long time refreshing a page if turns out he can't show up
that way, you know?

Its chance of appearing sitting on the
home tab is completely random with the every page visit.
And, yes, I’ve seen many users saying that they got Staid by reloading a single page multiple time for hours. Well, it can appear on any other page too with a single visit while reloading can work too maybe, but as said its random, so, you need a good RNG for him to appear.

I got mine from the profile layout page. I spent a lot of time refreshing and editting my layout that day. But I don't know what could have triggered staid
I am trying to get all dex entries so help me out if you want to.
