Xatina
There were knights ready to train at the castle grounds...despite
the fighting going on. Most of these were just preparing for what
could happen
Audax + Winter
“I’ll find a way.” Yung nodded. “I’m certain I can get into contact
with Professor Ryn at least...she is decidedly neutral, from what I
can remember
Fortem
“And you’re asking me this because...?” Ryn’s eyebrows raised
further at the question
Xatina trotted up to the first knight she saw on the training
grounds. The fresh air and lack of pain had left her with a dopey
grin on her face, though she did her best to contain it, which
resulted in a toothy smile. "Are you looking for someone to train
with? I'd really apriciate it if I could spar with someone."
Fortem sighed. He'd have to go out on a limb and put himself on the
line if he wanted this to work. He was throwing himself to luck's
mercy. He quieted his voice. "Okay," He paused nervously. "So I'm
neutral and don't like the fighting and need help and support." He
sighed once again. He'd probably made the whole situation
worse...
"That's good," Audax said, relived. He scanned the area once more,
taking in the sighes of Luminia. "I'm ready to go, if everyone else
is..."
Xatina
There was a Gabite all ready to go...they prepared themselves as
they agreed tk Xatina’s request
Audax
“I guess when Winter’s ready we can go!” Emerald said cheerfully.
“Audax, over here!” He was sitting down on a large bubble
Yung nodded “When everyone says they’re ready, we can go.”
Fortem
“And I should trust your word...because...?” Ryn was skeptical. At
the moment, the people she trusted were some of her students and
her two colleagues. She didn’t trust Atlas because of he was most
certainly Loyalist by nature. She had observed that Fortem was very
knightly in nature...and that was what she was basing her ideas off
of.
Xatina grinned. "Perfect!" Now what move should she use first? As a
ground type, Gabite wouldn't be very affected by Slash or
Megahorn....Dark Pulse! She'd keep building up her attack with
Sword's Dance, while chipping away with it! Once evreything was
ready, she focused on her horn until it seemed to radiate darkness,
a sign that she was about to use the move. "Ready?"
Fortem was relieved. This probably meant he found a neutral
pokemon! Still, that was the easy part. Now he had to convince Ryn
that he was telling the truth. He racked his brain to think of
something to say. After a solid few seconds, he sighed, saying:
"You honestly don't have much of a reason. I'm a knight, that's
true, but I don't agree with how they're getting innocent pokemon
in the crossfire. And I don't know if you know them, but if you do,
Yung and Audax could tell you as well." He picked the two most
likely pokemon for her to recognise (though still not the most
likely): Audax was a student here of course, and Yung was a
respected neutral figure. If Ryn herself was neutral, she would
know who he was. Fortem held his breath, worried.
Xatina
“Right.” The Gabite was already prepared, their claws glowing
purple. Dragon Claw. They then leapt forward, faster then one would
expect
Fortem
“Hm...I guess I’ll see. I don’t have much of a reason to trust you
yet. For all I know, you could be sweet talking me to join your
side.” Ryn closed her eyes. “...Even now, I know your parents would
be Loyalists. They’re knights, why wouldn’t the child follow in his
parents footsteps?”
Audax
Emerald playfully took his paw and gently poked the bubble with
Audax’s paw, making it squeak. It really was a soft bubble under
Audax’s pawpads, and it was obvious that Emerald was just being
playful, a big improvement from how he was prior to yesterday
Xatina wasn't expecting the fast speed, and the claw made contact.
But just as quickly, Xatina jumped back, then shot the Dark Pulse,
moving to the side as soon as it left her horn. "I've learned to
deal with speed!"
"I'm not asking you to join the loyalists." Fortem said calmly. It
was fair of Ryn to be suspicious of him. "And I'm honestly not
really in contact with my parents," He admitted. Look, how can I
convince you I'm neutral? I didn't even know you were neutral until
asking, and I took a risk." He continued.
Audax smiled, happy that Emerald was happy. He poked the bubble
again.
Xatina
"Interesting..." The Gabite dived into the ground to dodge the Dark
Pulse. Right now, they were tunnelling away. They questioned
Xatina's use of Swords Dance into Dark Pulse, but trusted she at
least have other moves.
Audax
Emerald was smiling happily. "Whatcha think?" He laughed happily
and watched Audax squish his paws into the soft bubble
Fortem
Ryn leaned inwards. "Faith is the core of light magic. Fine, and
what are you going to do with this information within the school of
Magic?
Riptide lands by the others in wherever this place with bubbles
was. He wondered why they gathered here. He said, “So, I guess I’m
coming along.” he said. He always seemed to talk serious. He liked
himself that way actually. He did like the bubbles though. He
didn’t slip at all on them. He wondered what Earth would be like.
He had always lived in Luminia, which was by now a war zone. Would
Earth be the same or different?
Xatina tensed. She had no idea where the Gabite would pop up. She
began bacing away. If she kept moving, the Gabite would have a hard
time pin pointing her location. She used Swords Dance so that the
next attack she landed would hit harder.
Riptide
"So are you coming along too? The more help we can get the better.
Though...I can feel that you have your resolve." Yung smiled at
Riptide. He stepped onto one of the bubbles, watching the bubble
wobble under him.
Audax
"Why are you thanking me? I don't think I did that much except
press your paw on the bubble..." He laughed lightly
Xatina
The Gabite leapt out of the ground, near Xatina with a burst of
rubble and dust, and prepared to swipe again with Dragon Claw
This time, Xatina was ready. She ducked the swipe and slammed into
the Gabite with Megahorn. It wouldn't be very affecitve, but the
Sword's Dance would bring up the attack.
“Yeah I guess I’m coming.” he said as he sat down on the bubble and
folded his legs. He wondered how they would even get to Earth,
knowing how high they were. He didn’t wobble a bit on the bubble.
He relaxed. He was calming down from all of the fighting that had
happened earlier.
Fortem stood tense, waiting for a response. He was honestly super
stressed.
"For being a good friend," Audax told Emerald with a grin as he
continued to poke the soft bubble.
Somewhere in the castle, Clamor heard the distant noises of
battling. At best, it was republicans come to invade. But more
likely, it was just loyalists practicing. With a lonely sigh,
Clamor just lay down and listened.
Xatina
The Gabite launched and tried to power through the Dark Pulse,
rushing forward again with another Dragon Claw
Audax
"Ah! What is this odd place...?" The hooded figure spoke out loud.
It would be obvious who this was...
Emerald turned around...as did Yung and Remus. Who on earth...?
Fortem
"A noble cause. But again, we should not be talking about this
here." Ryn said with an unusually stern look. She decided to round
up the other two and discuss it with them also at a later point.
