Phillip enters the bakery as the smell of breads,sweets and pastries drown his nostrils. "GOOD MORNING!" He yells in a way, really hoping someone appreciates this gesture. "I WANT YOUR BEST CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS, STAT!" He tells.... no one in particular, still expecting his request to be granted as he sits down thinking someone will serve him -no one will because it's a darn bakery not a restaurant, but he keeps his hopes high. Maybe someone will and at the least he'll just have to pick his croissants up himself. He fails to notice anyone there, too caught up in his own conquest for chocolate croissants.

rosaline turns her head. "darling?" she thought. " is she older than me or something?wait. what if shes an old lady. aww , thats cute if i gave a lonely old woman flowers. i mean with magic and potions you can do anything with age..." she continued pondering.
then she smiles as she realizes the poor girl/old lady is terrfied
"ah, im sorry, did my snazzy armour scare you? its usually regina who scares people, im always the underdog of the group." she bows her head and shakes her hand. kinda gently. old people have higher chances of stroke right. "hello maam, i am but a mere knight. my name is rosaline, i hope you are safe? (and well. do you need medical assistance) "

Thea still watches in shock at the knight waving her hand, but at least she's more gently now... Thea can't help but smile a little. Knights really are polite like in all the stories. Debating on whether to speak or just slightly nod, she decides to take a chance.
"Nice to meet you, d... darling Rosaline," she can't help but boast slightly for herself over her newfound politeness. Mom would've been proud to see her right now. "I am... safe, I think, but I don't really know where anything is, haha..."

'ok...old woman hypothesis is still going strong'

"oh, are you new in town? or maybeth unfamiliar with the city? i can show you around ! if you would like." she holds her back like an old woman would be supported, and tugs her towards the bakery. " let me invite you for some pastries, i heard their chocolate croissants are exquisite!" rosaline already knows how it tastes, but pretending like its new would probably be more relatable to the woman.

"Uhm... thank you!" She says as politely she can, though she can't help but feel a bit strange at the sudden contact. Is this some new kind of contact only city people know? Trying to fit in as much as possible, Thea tries her best to lay a hand on the knight's shoulder. Like tugging a friend home after a successful win in some kind of sport. "I wuuldn't say I'm completely neew to the city, I just live reight outside on thee countryside. I haven't been heere in months, though." She smiles as best as she can.

rosaline blankly stares as thea is speaking. why is she ...half hugging her? old people are weird.
"oh... my family lives on the country side as well! they were plenty mad at me for leaving zem, but my 7 siblings can handle it!
she looks at thea, contemplating how old she might actually be. "im sure it was different back in your days, but its good youre still coming here! i know theres a chess club near that many people bored of their long lives go to, if you ever want to be with your kind of crowd, you know" shifting her shielf, she remembers she still does not know her name."
may i ask your name ma'am?" she says she again, kinda slowly drags her to the bakery. slowly

Thea looks at Rosaline with a mix of amusement and shock. "I'm shuore you mean all well, but I reeally don't think I'm oulder than yuo," she sends her a hesitant smile. "I'm Thea Nylund, the daughter of Søren Bækgaard. You can hurry the pace up a lit'le, darling Rosaline." Thea gets a good grip on the knight's shoulder, grabs all the confidence she can store in her body and begins walking a little bit faster with her newfound stranger-friend-knight whatever in a proper embrace. Well. 'Proper' is subjective. It's just really a half-hug, but at least she's standing completely upright now, right?

rosaline nods awkwardly "oh. well, these beauty ointments must work well then!" as she is dragg- walking with thea. "hello thea, fine morning." rosaline opens the bakery door. "mmMMMMMmmmmmmmm i want,,, gateau" she spots her comrade, phillip, chilling somewhere. "good day philly!!" she semi yells out to him, still half hugging thea.

Noah looks over at The Jester as he sees his brother entering the bakery. He gives his brother a smile and a wave, before whispering to The Jester. "What's the plan?"

Kalinda looks over at Valentin. "We should probably get going, we're going to be late!" She exclaims, speeding away.

Cooper finishes his mopping and goes to prepare tea. He looks out one of the windows of the kitchen and sighs. He goes closer to the window and rests his hands on the sill. It looks beautiful out there today.

Phillip had almost dozed off, he was half asleep as he rarely got any in the first place so a bit of calm allowed his conscious to slip into it, his comrades voice reawakened the beast and he jumped up like a loose spring of a sofa. "HELLO ROSALINE! HOW HAS YOUR MORNING BEEN AND... WHO'S THE TALL LADY?" He quickly offers a handshake to Thea.

"I don't know should we get him a tart as well or something? If that doesn't work," they very super (not) sneakily point at their bag and wink "invisibility dust" ... it's just glitter, but in their head they have a very great fool-proof plan that makes even the bestest best of magicians jealous.

Upon hearing the kettles boil and whistle,Joy knew tea was about to be served. She placed her hands on her cheeks just from imagining the sweet taste that she would sooner or later experience. "Tea's coming! Tea's coming!" Joy exclaimed as she went back into the room and started shaking from the excitement. "Where do you wish to go once we've had our tea,dear sister?" she said to Esmeralda,coming to her senses.

Noah nods. "You are so right. So wise. Yes." He responds. He reaches for his pocket to make sure he has money and, to his surprise, he does! Wow!

Cooper shakes his head and goes back to the tea kettle. He pours a few cups full and places the kettle down. He takes a tray from one of the cabinets and carefully places the teacups onto it. He begins to make his way towards the princesses with the tray in his hands.

Thea returns the handshake, slightly shaken up about another knight so up close, but she can't end it here! Gotta be brave. "Nice to meet you," she manages to get through in a Completely Cool and Collected Tone.

Valentin screams a few words before them becoming actual human words: "WAIT KALINDA WAIT UP HELLO HELLO WAIT!!!"
Valentin presses his hat down as he manages to get all his energy into one long run. Their destination was the castle, but even so that is kind of vague... where were they supposed to go?!

Kalinda smiles and continues to sprint to the castle. She suddenly stops at the doors. "It looks so pretty!! Look at it Valentin!!" She smiles wider and turns around to look at Valentin.

"I hope the helmet doesn't scare you Miss. friend-of-rosaline! I merely keep it on as a safety measure in case anything happens, better safe than sorry type deal." He begins to ponder. How many people have seen him without it? Oh right.... only him... oh well, he doubts anyone's losing sleep over it. "You should try the chocolate croissants here they're REALLY good!" He smiles even though you can't see it rip.

"You think I'm wise?" Ava slaps their hand on their mouth "I am. So flattered" they take a moment to really let the compliment dilute, they have to fight the urge to squeeze Noah in the middle of this life or death situation. Even if it is very tempting.
They turn back to Elliot and clear their throat
"Hello Eli!!! Hi! Hello! Would you, perhaps, sire, your majesty, be interested in a bit of a uh"

Valentin finally manages to catch up to her, wheezing and panting. He falls to his knees. He punches himself in the chest. "Yes...." Wheeze. "Very... nice..." wheeze. He punches himself again and rises up to his full form again. Well. As full as 156 cm is.
Any polite smile he would've shown Kalinda gets thrown out of the window by his sheer fatigue, so he only manages to send a worrying grin.
"Can't we just... walk in..."

Thea nods politely. "The chocolate croissants, huh? I haven't had any of those since I was a little kid!" She finds a place to sit down. "Is this place usually so... uhm... crowded?"

Kalinda walks towards Valentin. "Come on! Let's go explore!" She says excitedly, grabbing Valentin's hand and pulling him through the castle doors as she begins to run again. She's been waiting to explore the castle for so long that she can hardly contain herself.
