The first room that you come into is destroyed, with broken shelves
covered in ashes. The ceiling looks ready to cave in at any moment,
and there is dust and dirt evreywhere. However, you notice a
newspaper clipping on the ground.
He made his way forward, crouching down and carefully taking the
clipping into his hands.
In the dark and the shadows, there was a figure, slithering around
like a snake and waiting on a victim to have a bit of.. 'fun' with,
despite her horrid idea of fun.
The paper read, "5 days ago the popular children's doll shop known
as Gershom's Doll Emporium was destroyed in a horrible fire. The
cause of the fire was found to be a cigarette lighter, although the
perpetrator is still unknown. The shop's owner is unknown, so no
one has stepped forward to claim the insurance. Even the 12 dolls
who seemed to run the store have disappeared, no bodies being
pulled from the wreckage, but no sign that they survived the wreck.
Their fate is unknown, but local homeless people have reported soft
singing coming from inside late at night, and anyone who wanders in
has never been seen again. Police have blocked off the wreckage as
of now, while plans are to be made to fully destroy it and create a
new building."
Suddenly, the doors slam shut, and all other exits from the room
are blocked by some invisible entity. Any light flickers out for a
moment, before coming back on with a bang. In the middle of the
floor is a doll, but it looks untouched by the ruin around it. In
its back is a small device, suggesting a windup toy.
She carefully made her way to the roof, her paws making a light
pitter-patter as they worked their way around.
"Alright."
A sudden Creeeeeeeeeeak... from above them caused his eyes to dart
up, and he shrieked at the glowing eyes in the dark, one brown and
the other white, looking down at them from on the roof. When it was
silent, a soft melody could be faintly heard coming from what used
to be a music box build inside of her, destroyed by fire and age.
She dropped from the roof, her feet giving her a perfect landing
while her head turned a bit, unusually.
"You're stuck now."
Mark yelped, looking at the destroyed animatronic. Was this one
from the incident? Maybe.. It had said the place burned to the
ground days after.. But he had never seen a bear like her.
Nonetheless, he was terrified.
The doll stood up on its own, and immeadiently began walking
around, singing loudly. "You're trespassing, trespassing, no way to
escape. Trespassing, trespassing, you're going to die, going to die
unless you play our little game."
She stood in the room, her eyes watching the two as they slowly
left. Her wandering eyes were a soft glow, her wires a molten mess,
and her fur all knotty and skewiff. The only undamaged items on
here were the locket and the leaf clip.
