The boy whispered, "We're going to drive the mothers and fathers off. It isn't nesting season so no babies, but these buggers like to periodically visit the site to upkeep it. We're going to surprise them and drive them off Malince Territory."

Goliath stepped back and waited for the simulation to begin for Regina. He wasn't particularly excited about fighting robotic versions of the beasts, but it couldn't be helped.

Two blue eyes flared out of the darkness. A large Bull with the head of a lion stepped forward into the light. It regarded both of them, tossed its head, roared, and charged right for Regina.

Regina quickly ran out of the way. Grabbing two of her knives, she positioned herself behind the creature, and threw them at the wall in an effort to distract it.

The bull twisted to avoid the knives, snorted, and ran in a circle to attack her from the side.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Regina quickly climbed up onto a ledge in the cave to avoid the bull's attack. When she was high enough, she swung herself off, slewing an onslaught of knives straight at the bull's head as she headed towards the ground.

The knives caught the fur surrounding the bull's neck, and it roared angrily, stumbling to the ground. It kicked out at Regina with its four legs.

Regina caught the bull's kick just as she landed, sending her flying onto the ground. After a minute, she stumbled back to her feet, though her condition wasn't the best. She ran around the bull in a circle, throwing as many knives at it as she could.

The bull tried desperately to dodge the knives, but some of them did hit, making a crunching noise as they pierced the metal hide of the mutant robot. It stumbled to a stop, snorting as it watched Regina's movements. Juanita decided to give her a hint. "Notice how it protects its face! Y'know, it's eyes?"

Regina's eyes widened in realization. Cautiously, she stepped a bit closer to the bull, and held up two of her knives to where it's eyes were. She took a deep breath, then sent them flying through the air. Then she quickly backed away from the beast.

As the monster tried to dive to the side and avoid the knives, it was unsuccessful. The knives pierced its eyes, and with electricity crackling and the glass shards of the eyes flying, it toppled to the ground.

After a few moments of stunned silence, a huge smile spread across Regina's face. She started jumping up and down like a child in a candy story. "Yay! I did it! I did it!" She then paused, and glanced at Juanita. "Uh, I did do it, right?"

Regina beamed, and returned to her mini celebration. A quiet chant of "I did it!" could be heard echoing through the cave.

Jaunita stepped out to drag away the ruined machine and went back to the switch. "Ready? Alright then." She held up her fingers, counting down. "3...2...1..GO!" She threw the switch, but this time, instead of a growl, there was a deep, long hiss. Slithering out of the darkness was a blue-eyed, three-headed snake. Its three heads twisted around each other and back again, never taking their eyes off of Goliath. They lifted themselves up with their tail and back down again, slithering slowly to the right.

Goliath paced with the robot as if he were a wrestler, his own eyes fixed at the body of the beast where all the heads met. After a moment, the boy stopped and let the bot come closer. Then, he leapt. It was an inhuman leap, sending him far into the air on a direct impact path for the robot. One hand came forward, brandishing its tool while the other stayed back, half open.
