Not again... Well, it was reasonable to guess it would be a fight, seeing how there were also fights in the final rooms of all of the other areas... Fortem hoped their opponent would be something like a non living robot or golem, which made it easier for him to attack. He crouched, tensed, and waited for something bad to happen. Fortem planned to use sand attack immediately if he needed to, just in case.

"Here we go," Fortem growled through gritted fangs, and sent a flurry of sand immediately towards the mammoth machine. It was good that it wasn't a live Pokemon, but Fortem still hoped that his sand attack would do something against its smooth surface. He leaped back, and prepared to dodge one of the opponents moves, or perhaps it's swinging trunk.

Because of the size of the foe they were facing, accuracy wouldn't be an issue here for them.

The mammoth stomped the ground, causing grass to grow up and form loops in the ground (Grass Knot)

"Whoa!" Fortem was a little surprised by the move, but created a few stone edge platforms to stand on, so they might be able to dodge some more of the beast's attacks, or at least be able to hit the mammoth higher up. Maybe it had a weak point? Fortem didn't know, but hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

It was a shame that the mammoth took no damage from the Sandstorm...
The Mammoth stomped it's foot to bring rocks falling, much like the titan in the Forest Temple

Emerald ducked and dodged, Mewtwo wasn't so lucky

Fortem barely dodged the attacks himself, then hurried over. "Mewtwo! Are you ok?" Fortem made three other stone edges out of the wall to shield from future rocks. That plus the platforms he'd made were 6 stones, which were a little difficult to maintain, but it was a good safety precaution, and might help the group cover from potential attacks.

"I think they'll be fine, sir," Helda mumbled, not wanting to actually voice a comment. Truthfully, she didn't know if they would be alright, but they were tough, so she guessed they were. If they needed reinforcements, she would go if asked, though she wouldn't offer.

"Hop onto one of the wall platforms!" Fortem suggested, as he leaped onto one, which wobbled a bit from the earthquake, but stayed relatively still, and he didn't get hurt! Fortem took the time to concentrate on keeping his platforms up, which was tiring.

Mewtwo was fine considering he could float...

Fortem used rock throw, aiming for one of the mammoth's joints! Then, he hid on the ende of a platform, regaining his energy.

The mammoth glowed a yellow-green and moments later, vines shot up from the ground at random
