The arcana was using all of it's attacks wisely and effectivley,
Fortem could give it that. He tried countering some of the attacks
with a splash of his own, really grateful for the bubble.
"What if we all attacked at the same time?" Fortem suggested
loudly, speaking over the roaring winds and crashing waves.
"Surely, it couldn't stop all of the attacks? Something must get
through!"
Ares grinned widely. As if that would stop him. He was a fate of
mystery. This thing had no idea what he could do. He fired a
Ragnarok to make a hole in the projectiles, getting to the point
where he could touch it. He poured a lot of energy into this next
on “NOSFERASTU!”
Not more...! When would this thing end? Fortem growled at it,
lashing his tail, and took the break to get in some breaths, as he
prepared an attack and got ready to dodge... again...
Ares held on for as long as he could with the dark draining spell.
But the energy he recovered was starting to be to much Even for
him, he jumped off, though he felt revigorated
Fortem's muscles began to ache even more as he tired out. He
narrowly dodged a beam of light, which put a black smoldering spot
on the dirt behind him. Although fairly large, the stars were easy
to avoid, though dodging the beams and stars together was tricky.
Fortem raised himself up on a platform, and tried to use rock throw
again... yeah, he needed a finisher move.
Covering his paw in aura, Ares carefully deflected on of the beams,
slightly sweating. Geez this thing was stubborn. But he was top
charged now. He took a deep breath, and summoned forth all the
energy he had just drained. “Here’s my finisher. Ultima Ragnarok!”
He fired the beam, which the knock back actually threw Mega Ares
off his feet.
Helda bounded towards the cube, slashing and puffing flames at
anything that came near her. A couple of times, she had
accidentally hit her own team. She managed to make it to the
arcana, and jumped on top of it, smothering it in flames. She did
not, however, jump off - she dug her claws in and hung on for dear
life, with no idea what she was doing. It would undoubtedly throw
her off. The orbs were incredibly strong - stronger than she was
expecting - but she managed to stay on.
Ares had a thought. Could he damage the orbs? If the Anima Weapon
Triangle still worked here, then- He aimed from where he lay at the
orb spewing fire, and cast a simple water spell- Splash.
