"No, just wanted to see what you were up to." Gateguard smiled, amusement coloring his voice. He had sat himself down with a hand propping up his chin as he idly watched Nova. The way she reacted to the precious ore was kind of cute actually, but he internally scolded himself for that thought, knowing that by the end of this one or both of them wouldn't even be alive anymore. That thought quickly made him grimace but he dispelled the thought as quickly as it came. Now was not the time for negative thoughts. "What are you mining?"

"Oh ho stop! You are making me blush!" Kayda responds sarcastically. "These are the games. You cannot get attached to the people here" she smiles. "Do you have allies Adelaide? Do you care for them? What are you going to do if you are the only group left standing?" She shakes her head. "Don't demonize me because I am doing what you are too afraid to do" she snaps.

"Mostly just expanding my undergournd mines. I've come across Lapis and some redstone, though I'm not sure what either of those are for, but I found some diamond which can be used for armor or weapons, hell even decoration if someone wanted to." Nova set the said ores aside for Gategaurd to look at if he wanted. She dug a little more in before the loud SNAP! followed by a string of colorful cursing indicated that her pickaxe had broken.

"You lecturing me? Keep the sappy crap to yourself, and get to the point, or go on your way." Adelaide muttered harshly, tugging on the reigns when Phantasia threatened to just bolt off. The black mare was becoming antsy, and while each of the words dug a deeper pit in her stomach, she knew that she had a hell of a time getting under other people's skin. Kardia had taught her a few lessons about sarcasm before her passing, and it was time for the world to know it. "Yes, I have allies-going after them depends on how you want to die. You can...either get slowly torn apart by wolves, get hit by an axe to the skull, or get slowly ripped apart by a beast of choice." She flexed her muscles menacingly, "Or...I can dismember you and send your head back to your family." The white career sniggered at the quickly rising tone, crooning to Kayda as if she were talking to a child. "I can see you're a lot of fun, Kayda, yes you. I'm just trying to have some fun, eh? And I'm the scared one."

Kayda sighs. "Wow, I'm sooo scared" she laughs and shakes her head. "Torn apart by wolves? Been there done that" she shows Adelaide the scars to prove it. "An axe to the head.. well, more like knives. Too bad that, that didn't work" she jumps up and down, clapping her hands. "Although being torn apart by any beast? Or having my head cut off" she pauses and thinks for a moment. "Although both sound exciting, it's also too cliche... any other ideas?"

Laughing as he examined the jewels, Gateguard ran a hand over the lapis lazuli before the snapping if the pickaxe made him flinch slightly. ""Everything okay?" He called, getting up to wander over to Nova

Nova dug away at gravel upon hearing a strange sound, revaling a strange looking box and sevral creepers. They turned towards her and started flickering, inidcating that they would explode. Nova jumped back and slashed at one with her iron sword, one fell defeated but the others were still ready to take its place. Just before they exploded Gatgaurd caught the blur of white fur and a gray collar as it ran to aid in the attack. Then the creepers exploded. Nova and Gatgaurd were thrown back a little ways, otherwise they were okay. However the pained yelp of a wolf made Nova jerk her head up.

"Collin!" The wolf looked up at Nova the laid its head down. With a puff the wolf was gone leaving behind only its collar and a slime ball. For a moment Gategaurd could see the look of anguish or renewed pain of loss in her eyes before being replaced with the fury of a million angered bulls followed by some not so nice words as she rose up and destroyed the odd box, breaking her sword in the porcess. Not that Nova seemed to care about that. Her chest heaved as she resisted the urge to start sobbing, rather choosing to plug up the hole with cobblestone and sat down.

Kayda frowns. "Nothing that concerns you... Now" she marches off in a random direction, hoping that this will lead her towards the village. "I have some unfinished business to attend to" she growls, her grip tightening on the knife, as if she could release her frustration by doing that. "Maybe after that I'll hunt Tempest and Gateguard!" She calls. (Keep in mind she has no idea that they are in an alliance with Adelaide). "Those two seemed like an interesting lot. Don't you agree?"

Azar and Rita decided to see if they could find more diamonds and left the village with the promise of beign back before the mobs came out to play. Hefting a pickaxe, the two set off with bags filled with mining eqipment that Kyu had made for each of them.

(AdMortem, we can do the fight over PM or something? We don't want this RP to be paused for too long so we are gonna continue onwards)

While searching around, Kayda finds a tunnel. She is about to ignore it until she hears voices within the tunnel. With a flicker of satisfaction, Kayda realizes that Rita and Azar are down there. She sneaks on over, her power strengthening as she walks down the dark tunnel. When she spots them, she throws a shard. It hits the wall between Azar and Rita. "Why hello~!" Kayda calls

The light shard bounced between the two first hitting the wall between then to the ground at their feet. Azar and Rita jumped back in shock. "You!" Azar practiclly spat. Rita switched her pickaxe for her bow and quickly loaded it, elctricy crackled at teh arrow tip. "What are you doing her?"

"Well that's not very nice!" Kayda says with a pout. "I thought you guys would love to see me.. instead you are just hurting my feelings?" For a moment, Kayda's attempt to sound sad actually seems believable. Until her crooked grin appears on her face. "I wanted to play" Kayda answers, she steps closer to them, unafraid of Rita's power.

"Why would I be happy to see you? You killed Ashley! But yet you wanna play? Fine. Let's play." Azar stated firmly before being consumed by a bright light and when it faded her outfit had changed.* Rather then dawning her arena outfit she was now wearing a strapless red and white dress with knee high matching boots small blue butterfly wings with a pink border had sprouted from her back and were flapping furiously to keep her hovering above the ground. The torch light sent sparkles from the dress and wigns around. "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to play with fire?"

Kayda snorts. "Fire is easy to maintain" she turns her gaze on Rita, she knows it'll piss Azar off to have Kayda hurt Azar. She leaps towards Rita, her knife pointed dangerously to Rita. She shoves Rita hard and then tosses the knife at Azar, not really caring if she missed or not. With Azar distracted by that, Kayda can focus on killing Rita. She gazes at Rita, trying to find a weak spot to attack. Her eyes fall onto her (erm this is gonna be gross to type) rather loose eye. "Perfect" Kayda whispers

Rita's bow slipped out of Rita's hands at the shoved and skittered a few inches away, leaving Rita weaponless. Kayda summoned a light shard and swipped it at Rita, who turned her head to avoid a hit, but it failed. Kayda's knee knocked the side of Rita's head forcing her on the ground, Kayda then slammed into Rita, pining Rita's arms to the ground with her knees. Rita attempted to unseat her but it's no good, Kayda was stronger and heavier. With a malicious grin she gripped Rita's already injured eye and ripped it out of the socket, snapping the nerve and severing the connection form the brain. Rita's blood curdling scream echoed throughout the tunnel/cave as blood started gushing from the reopened wound. She naturally struggled against Kayda to try to either unseat her or staunch the flow.

Azar threw up a sheild of fire to block the knife which bounced off into the ceiling. Rita's scream natualy caught her attention and seeing Kayda now ready to kill the young girl but Azar sent a beam of intense heat at Kayda, knocking her off. "Don't touch her!"

Rita scrambled up and managed to retrieve her bow, but the blood rushing our of her wound made her teeter as though unsteady. Rita crawled behind a good sized rock to try to ases the damage.

Kayda bears her teeth at Azar. She eyes the water that is near Azar. "Let's see you use your powers underwater!" Kayda screams. She races at Azar, leaping into the air and grabbing Azar. With the added weight of Kayda's body, Azar is forced into the water. Kayda clings onto the girl, trying her best to kill Azar right there. The two seem focused on tearing eachother to shreds by any means necessary. After a moment, Kayda seems to have the upper hand, she shoves Azar underwater, who grabs Kayda and drags her down with her. For a minute, it's silent. Suddenly two beams of light can be seen in the dark waters. Then there is nothing...

The two girls struggle underwater, Azar's wings flapping furiously despite being useless under water. Kayda attempted to send a beam of light at Azar's heart but Azar dropped down making it crash into a rock. Kayda tryied to pull Azar down farther in by the ankle but Azar kicked Kayda square on the nose and swam upwards. Kayda grabbed Azar's ankle again but this time Azar was ready, she sent a beam of bioling water (since the water caneled out the fire but not the heat) at her. Azar swam up until she finally broke the surface gasping and coughing as she sucked in precious air.

She crawled onto land and over to Rita. "Are you okay?"

"Aside from my eye getting ripped out, yeah." Rita responded. Azar helped Rita to her feet and used some of the fire to stop the wrost of the blood.

"Screw mining, let's get you back to safety." Azar said.

"Wait," Rita protested. "What about Kayda?"

A cannon blast fired, awnsering Rita's question.

(Imma let you finish off Kayda, since she's your character after all.)

A scream had escaped Kayda when she was hit with the boiling water. She had once again tries to fire at Azar, but with her being in panic mode she misses. When she instinctively tried to swim up and out of the water, she finds that her legs and arms were tangled within the weeds that were on the bottom of this underwater river(? Idk what to call it) It was quite a cruel but fitting fate, almost as if nature itself refused to let the girl live.

Rita collpased against Azar and she picked the injured girl up. "I got you." Azar flew out of the tunnel and to the village carrying Rita bridal style the whole way back. When Azar returned she practiclly kicked the door in as her hands were occupied. "Harlow! Rita needs help!"
