Lucky gave a small gurgle.

Nina glared at Tora for a moment, still holding Lucky protectively in her arms. "Don't touch my daughter or else." Nina sat back down in her seat with Lucky in her lap, gently putting her daughter's hair in a braided bun while keeping an eye on Tora in case she tried anything.

Grandar was watching the side-fight from the corner of his eye, making sure nothing too harmful happened. Though he was still in a battle, he had no problem throwing everything and protecting the Smolrade. However, he surely was glad that he didn't have to.

Grandar chuckles a but under his breath but makes sure not to take his eyes too far off Maddox. This guy was definitely the worst matchup for him. Grandar would break shields, leap distances, and shatter the very earth under him but when it came to Maddox, none of that mattered, he was too fast or too far away. He only needed one more chance, one more punch and it could be over.

He wasn't ready for the quake. He felt the ground split directly beneath him so that he dived to a secure bit of ground, his chest being scraped by a rock. He pushed himself to his feet and shook his head quickly, charging at Grandar. He jumped and went to swing his staff when he simply pushed himself off of him with his feet. A clone from behind attacked instead, backing away a step.

Grandar stumbles down onto his knews from the blow. The spikes didn't help, he felt his knees being torn from the small spines digging into his knees. He let out a grunt but knew that Maddox was only a few feet from him now. Taking a few seconds to charge his legs, he tried to ignore the pain and tackled Maddox, crashing into him at enormous speeds but coincidentally sending himself flying also. He wasn't able to grab onto anything so he kept tumbling till he crashed into one of his thrown bolders. The tumbling on the spikes torn small scrapes and cuts all along his back and arms.

He let out a startled yelp before being sent into one of the boulders. He let out a shrill cough before pushing himself back up. Brushing off some dust, he stood squarely in front of Grandar, his yellow eyes beaming. Some clones appeared around Grandar, one on each side. They drew their weapons and aimed for his injuries. One think strange was that they were slightly slower, and a bit more faded than normal. Upon realising this, Maddox flinched but held his gaze. His smile was gone, it was more of a somewhat disturbed yet disgusted look.

Charlie's eyes are wide. 'God.. Maddox is going to kill Grandar' she thinks. She shurs her eyes, shaking her head. 'Is it even worth trying again? Last time I tried I was attacked.. no, I'll have to trust that the announcers will end this fight soon.' She leans back in her chair, staring at anything that isn't the fight

Solas was shaking, eyes hidden by his hair. His hands were gripping the rail that separated them so hard that his knuckles were white.

He was silent, eyes on the battle like a man possessed. His breathing was shallow and forceful, and he was clearly afraid.

Grandar tries to get up but he can start to feel his strength dissipate while he checks his scrapes and scratches. Nothing he hasn't seen before but he just tries to brush it off. He watches Maddox and his clones and finds it weird when they don't look exactly like the original. A grin crawls around his face when the original looks like a stick in the mud. He quickly destroys the clones with a sweep and lands a punch on Maddox. The punch wasn't as lethal as he wanted but nevertheless, did the damage he looked for.
