I've also been considering offering a new type of sprite to make, but I'd have to make a few examples and be sure that I can actually make them unique before allowing people to request them. I did them a long time ago on another site, so there's a good chance I can do it again.

Well, a devamp that only goes as far back as generation III wouldn't really look much different. Devamps are mostly for generations I and II Pokemon.
