You live in San Fransisco, a city plagued by earthquakes often. One day at your high school, you're in your class when a big earthquake. And then, time seems to stop.

Literally. You look around, able to move, as you see your classmates frozen in time - desks and papers in midair when students dove under them, the teacher frozen at the whiteboard.

You step out into the hallway, and then you see the other people, moving like you. And a figure appears in front of you:

"Quickly, now! The demons have escaped from Dietric!" The figure says before disappearing. So apparently, you're a superhero now.

Name: Kei Takahashi
Age/Grade: 17! he's a senior
Appearance: Kei's of average height, about 5'8", with messy black hair and cobalt-blue eyes. His skin's pretty pale since he hates going outside, though he burns super easily. He's also on the skinny side because he. keeps forgetting to eat because he's an idiot obsessed with gaming and there's nobody around to remind him lol.

Personality: He's sour, bitter, and salty, and he doesn't taste good. In all seriousness: he's rude and antisocial and he really hates social interaction (though that's mostly because anxiety is rude). Kei, well, considering he has no temper at all, doesn't really have a short temper. But if you stick with him long enough he's less abrasive, though not by much. You just get used to it.
He actually does care about people though, but he's super bad at showing it. Well, he's okay at showing it as Hurricane, but like, he has a self-sacrificing streak about twenty miles wide and he literally cannot be trusted to take care of himself. He's not an idiot but he kind of is. If you know what I mean.
School Activities: none because he hates people. or so he says he's actually very anxious.
Superhero Appearance: It's a black catsuit. Don't let him fool you, ignore everything he says, it's a catsuit. AKA: a tight black suit that allows for more streamlined movement, according to him. Also a helmet that looks kind of like a bird's head so everyone knows him jokingly as big bird. He wears arm and leg guards so he isn't totally unprotected, at least.

Power/Ability: He's an empath and can control the wind/air. (Basically he can sense emotions and move things.)

Appearance: Ryan is about 5'4", with tanned skin, short-ish reddish brown hair, and blue eyes. Is actually super stronk because he runs to and from school every day. Why? There is no reason he just does it
Personality: Ryan's super quiet; he rarely ever speaks or shows any emotion on his face. He can seem a bit intimidating because of that, and partially because his resting face seems intensely brooding even when he's just daydreaming. Getting him to talk at all is pretty much useless because he just stares blankly at you until you give up. He doesn't really like social interaction, so he avoids it whenever he can. Despite it all, he's actually a pretty nice person, though one-sided conversations are usually pretty awkward. He's also super intelligent and curious, so you can catch him reading almost always.
School Activities: band, surprisingly.
Superhero Appearance: It's basically a suit made of paper, and individually paper is weak but like everyone knows, a stack of paper is impossible to penetrate. His stuff's like paper mache except less brittle.

Amira acts like a complete and utter tomboy. She has short, raven black hair with it clipped very close to her head on the sides and the back but more grown out as it gets to the top and front of her hair. Her skin is extremely pale and her nails are long, and painted red with black designs on them. She wears a black crop top with white writing on it that says Y'all gonna make me lose my mind. Oh wait, I already have. along with white shorts. She is 5'7.
Personality:
Can be rude and is easily annoyed by most people. She doesn't show it but she is a nice in her own way.

Personality: Lauren is extremely absent-minded, and will lose somethign even when holding/wearing it. She's also overprotective and gets suspicious easily. She gets scared very easily, and treats every joke as though it were serious. Lauren is very alert, but isn't very good at being considerate
School Activities: Band (oboe)
Superhero Appearance: A pale yellow bodysuit, almost stereotypical, with openings on the shoulders and fingers. Slightly brighter stripes going down her sides (front and back) and her arms and legs. Also wears a mask similar to a bird's wingspan across her eyes.

Power/Ability: Possesses the ability to manipulate light as if it were solid, but she's only able to begin manipulating light if there's a sorce. She can carry it around, but it'll slowly go out. If this isn't okay, please tell me

Appearance: (this is going to be unorganised sorry) Zach has short black hair and slightly brown-ish skin. He's 5'9" tall, not too thin and not too fat. He wears dark blue rectangular glasses, a sky Tshirt and jeans at all times.
Personality: Around girls (other than Lana), he's extremely shy but manages to have a casual conversation with one, but he's never the one to approach. Around guys, he feels like he's the one being harshly judged, and thus acts timid. It leads to him being bullied almost everytime. However, if he trusts someone as his friend, he'll come out to be very cheerful and goofy. While being shy, he's always ready to help someone in need.
School Activities: He tried swimming once, but left because of bullying and lack of self-confidence
Superhero Appearance: His suit looks a lot like the Black Panther, considering that he liked it oo much that he incorporated its design into his own suit. It is deep blue in color, but without any headgear or necklace. His glasses are replaced by contact lenses.
Superhero Name: Warper
Power/Ability: He can teleport once an hour within 100 metres of range. He can have adrenaline boosts that make him faster and stronger for ten minutes but very weak and tired for the next thirty minutes. He is not affected by water. He can move through water as if it was air, and water hoses don't push him back. HE can also nullify the wetting property and buoyant force of water.
Crush/BF/GF: Everytime he sees Morgan, he feels like butterflies in his stomach. If only he could gather the courage to even talk to her....

Appearance: She has shoulder length black hair with pink streaks, which she ties in a ponytail or keeps loose. Her eyes are reddish-brown and her face is tanned. She wears a light pink tank top and jeans. She is 5'7" tall.
Personality: She can be seen as friendly and tomboyish. She indulges in almost everything her friends are into. She's equally comfortable with girls and boys. She's never been shy around her crushes either. However, she gets mad easily and has a rude side if angered. She's also very honest and does not know how to sugar coat stuff.
School Activities: She tried swimming to be with Zach, but almost drowned. Now she plays basketball.
Superhero Appearance: She gets a purple visor and a pink-purple helmet. Her jumpsuit is light pink in color with black sleeves. The area around her back is reinforced with really hard plastic, which cannot be seen. There is the picture of a pink diamond on her chest.

Power/Ability: She can crystallise air with the most ease. These crystals are pink in color and work like time capsules. Time stops inside these crystals. She can use these crystals as daggers, shields or to pause a bomb or something. If she is hit in the small of her back, all her cystals would shatter. She can shatter them at will as well. They would just vaporise rather than breaking down into fragments. Her visor allows her to see past the crystals.
