Will looks at the remains of a maintenance ladder, and attempts to
calculate how much weight they could hold. He calculates that it
would never work, and that he didn't have enough energy to jump
that high, or jump from wall to wall, so he goes to the others, and
waits.
"Just...get the other guy that wants to kill everything and get to
an air vent. Theres an exit there I guess." Cole said, looking over
to his boulders and back to an entrace of the vents. He got it off
by making one of the boulders go near it.
Will looks around the area, one of his hands constantly reaching
for a pistol. For all he knew, somebody could've overheard
something and headed this way with a squadron of men, or someone
had made a lucky guess that they were in the air vents, and is
listening to their conversation.
Mason nodded and followed behind Sanaki, Paisley falling behind a
bit.
"Did you want to say something?" Paisley asked Drew timidly,
keeping close to Mason and Sanaki.
Will waits until everyone has gone through, both his hands reaching
for his pistols. He continues to survey the area, preparing for
somebody to come out of nowhere and strike.
"I just came from a vent, I'm not looking to be a coward and hide.
I'm gonna fight." Luke said, determined, "I'll take after my
brother, and fight to the very end!"
"So you want to die? You want to die fighting them until death? It
would be no use, one man can only do so much for the world. Unless
you can muster an army, its useless to fight." Will draws a pistol,
and aims it back into the vent, still waiting for something to
happen.
"Sigh, they don't even know me. Or the powers I could have deep
within me. My brother and my best friend had their Ryoku. I've got
my thunder." Luke sighed, and pushed onward.
"No, what is it?" Paisley pestered after groaning.
Mason's head perked up and he halted. "There's... a couple of
people feeling flustered nearby..." he picked up with Empathy,
referring to Luke and Will.
Luke could feel the static of two other people nearby, who's
attention seemed to be attracted toward him, "Great, now I'm gonna
have company. Hostile or friendly? That's the question."
"Oh. Um -- Sorry?" she apologized whilst confusion filled her. "I
guess I just wanted to be comfortable or something... my bad."
Mason tilted his head back and squinted, focusing in more on
them.
"I can't tell. I think they're ... arguing?" he assumed. "I would
go send an Astral Clone down there, but I'm still pretty worn out
from using it a while ago..."
"Why don't I go?" Paisley proposed. "The officials don't have
anything against me right now, I could check it out and I
can definitely take care of myself."
