Ren walked down a path as her tail swung back and forth. She usually never visited base but she needed to get something.




Venom had picked up all the glass shards and thrown them away. He slammed the door to his room as he walked in.

Lise didn't see anyone, so she reluctantly sat down and began sketching again. She was on edge now. They couldn't get caught. At least, not by the wrong person. It would mean terrible things for them.

Zia was alone in the forest. She knew Troye and Lise were together, she knew where Ramses was, she could hear them, if she allowed her cat-like hearing to activate. But instead, she sat in the clearing quietly, her eyes closed, legs crossed, daggers beside her. She knew there was a fight coming, and she needed to be ready.

((Cami being a huge help to those who wanna know the past of the story. Also, when you read this, do not think the Dark is evil. Their ideas have changed.

When Paige put Cami down, the child's was gazing in awe at everything. "How has no human seen this before!?"
"We're on another plane of exsistance." Paige explained. "Humans can only see stuff on their plane. We can see all planes, as we are the children of the sun and moon."
"I thought you were children of the light and dark?"
"We are. Long ago, the moon and sun were sisters. They protected earth with their lives. But as earth began to become more, and more dangerous, the sun and moon had different ideas. The sun believed the danger would destroy itself, and the moon beloved that they should wipe it out now. The two sisters who once loved each other dearly now were at war. As the sun and moon could not move, they created the two first Children, Salvia and Maurine. Salvia watched from afar, but Maurine attempted to fix the problem.
"Long after Salvia and Maurine passed, the sun and moon still fought. But what they didn't know is that when Salvia and Maurine passed, their powers passed into newborn children. These powers have developed in humans. Those who see us have been taken back to camps, recruited. Trained. No human is allowed to war until they are fifteen. Except those who have Battlescars."
"Battle scars? What do they have to do with anything?"
"No. Battlescars. Battlescars are what is given to humans who can see the plane, and have witnessed a fight. They are sent to a team. They know how to fight, and how to control their magic. Do not wish for Battlescars. They will kill you."
"Why?"
"Seeing Light and Dark fight... It's like seeing a star explode, or being sucked into a black hole. Those who do not have Battlescars survive. A weapon, not being on a team and witnessing a fight, or having a family member die due to a fight are causes of Battlescars. The pain drives you insane. They consume you, and you die."

Lise closed her book and shoved it into one of the deep pockets of her cloak. She layed down on the grass and stared at the sky. It was peaceful here. She wished she could just stay here, in this moment, forever. The soft breeze rustling the leaves, the sounds of the stream flowing and Troye sleeping. The shade of the trees and the soft grass. It was perfect. But it would come and go. And be gone.

Ren walked through the forest, Until she stumbled upon something. She found an injured bird. She looked at it closely. It looked like it had been attacked by something. The winds was broken, it's leg was twisted, it didn't look good.

Ramses finnaly was at the end of forest.. There was only some last trees and bushes that separated him from the base of Dark Childrens.. He will miss this forest, once the War will begin at full everything wil dissapear. All forest animals will be forced to run and trees will be cut down or burned to ashes. Maybe deep inside he is still a human but now he is Hare and he cant help himself but he feels like place he belongs to will just stop existing right bafore his eyes.

Lise evetually put her hood back on and scribbled a note for Troye, which she left in his hand. She smiled at him and left for the Lights base, slipping back into the tacticians tent quietly. Troye eventually woke up and read the note before slipping his own cloak on and fixing his sword back onto his belt and heading back to his own camp.

Cami sat down. "Did you recruit me?"
"No, child. I saved you."

Ren stepped out of the bushes in front of Troye, "You know, Talking with the enemy leads to punishment" she said to Troye in her cold voice.

Ramses left the forest behind along with his thoughts, he shouldnt think about future when now he has presence on his hands.. or paws at this very moment. He should find leader soon and tell him what he seen..He is not going to tell him about Troye, that will remain a secret. Just for safety of others of course..

Troye stopped cold and turned around to face her. "I... what did you see?" Troye asked. Lise was long gone by now. He was stuck. At least he didn't think Ren knew who Lise was. That was one plus.

Lune was walking when she heard "Talking to the enemy leads to punishment."

"Friendships divided, enemies untied. But one side will lose." Lune said, walking up to Ren and Troye. "As long as no one spills the plans, they can meet in secret. Try to be more discreet next time, darling." She said, looking at Troye.

Troye just stared at her, openmouthed. "I... alright..." Troye said, extremely flustered. He should have listened to Lise. He would try to be a little more discreet next time. If there was a next time.

"Don't worry. Umber won't hear wind of this. I doubt others would be so pitiful." Lune promised. "I should get going. I'm touching light, so my sister can find me. I doubt she's as merciful to the Light warriors."

Troye nodded. "Thank you." He said quietly. He got lucky this time. He hoped no one else had seen the two of them. He pulled his hood up and nodded to the two of them before disappearing into the forest.

She frowned as she took her hand off her blade handle. She didn't like that girl that Troye was talking to. She thought that the girl looked suspicious. She stood there staring at Troye until he disappeared.

"Please! No!" The man shouted in fear as he shuffled back to the end of the ally. "You asked for it. Maybe there won't be a next time." Devin said as he bent down in front of him. "Please I won't do it ever again!" The man said as he struggled against the wall. "Too late for that now." Devin said as he grab the man's collar.

Dark Base was nice place but it wasnt home and so Ramses easily got lost. Where should he go to find leader? Its strange, he never gets lost in forest but here.. Its like labyrinth for him! And the smell of smoke around is also making him sick...

Troye emerged back in the Dark Base and sighed, pulling his hood back down. He saw a rabbit and blinked before setting off towards the main medics tent once more. Lise pulled her cloak off and sketched some more inside of the tent.
