"I still don't understand that. I mean, I'm bonded and I don't HAVE to follow my companion's orders." Cream says, letting Kat hop into a nearby booth before her. "Is it some kind of special bond."

"Can't say. He made me promise." Kat replies, flicking her bony tail.

"Promises, promises. Fine, at least tell me why he wants to be alone." Cream replies.

"Not entirely sure. He always does though. Sometimes I think it's because he cries when he's alone and he doesn't want anyone to see. Most of the time, when he's sick, I come back and he's sleeping, so I never really know." Kat replies.

Nyx frowns and sips her coffee.Wonder who the two of them are talking about."Hey kiddo."The bartender says causing her to look up."Your new here right?"She nods slightly."Which means you need a job?"Another nod."How about you work for me?I don't mind it at all and you look a tad bit lost."Nyx tilts her head.A job would be good.What the heck why not?She nods her head and shoots a thumbs up at the bartender."Alright.You can start after you have finished eating."

Nyx tilts her head again.Soo they were talking about Beyond.Her mind flashes with the few times she has ran into him.He seems pretty chill and thankfully quiet.

Nyx smiles a bit.Well I can agree with his ideas.Words are special.Words can cause so much to happen.One word can save the lives of thousands or take the lives of thousands.She thinks to herself before glancing down at her empty plate.Hmm time to start work.She lifts her hand again and the bartender comes back.She quickly signs for him."What would you like me to do sir?"The bartender pointed towards a door that lead further back."How about you clean dishes kiddo.Also the name is Ismael."Nyx nods at Ismael and signs to him."Yes sir."She hops off her stool and goes back to the back room to start working.

(I thought Beyond was based off of Sans?I'll change it to something else though.)

Nyx felt her eyes widen as she took in the amount of dishes there was.Well they are not gonna do themselves.She rolls up her sleeves and starts working on the dishes.

(Nah, he was originally, and still kinda is, but Kat is a bit more like Sans. Also a LOT more like Lust than any of my other characters, but let's not go there--)

Nyx sighed as she washed the dishes.She was happy to have found a stool for herself to stand on so she could reach them all.Is Ismael the only one working here?It would explain why there is so many dishes.It'll be impossible to keep up with everything.She thinks to herself.Her mind went back to the conversation she over heard.What does bonded mean and what is so special about it?

Ismael peeked into the back room to see Nyx hard at work.He smirked a bit.Its nice to have some help.He thinks to himself before going back to the bar to help a customer out.

Nyx was silently humming as she worked.I wonder how long my voice is going to be out this time.
