Dewdrop nodded briskly. "Right. Okay. Firework, Winter, Sylvia and I attack from the left and make a semicircle, Firework does fire breath, Winter does frost breath, Sylvia does thunderstorm stuff, and I cover any offensive moves. Blaze, you take Ony, Shard, Braise, and anyone else here to attack from the right. Sound good?"

Blaze nodded and began to walk to the right, motioning to Ony to follow him, then to Shard, and then Braise.

Shard carefully followed Blaze to the right.

Ony dropped as well and nodded, keeping quiet. She followed Blaze closely, now only walking on three paws.

Blaze continued over to the right side, and stopped when he reached a good position. He looked over at Dewdrop, waiting.

Shard carefully stood next to Blaze, waiting.

Blaze glanced over at Ony, waiting. He hoped she would come soon. When he looked over, he also saw that Braise wasn't coming. He must've missed my signal. Oh well, he'll be okay. He thought.

Blaze nodded and lowered himself down to the ground. He lashed his tail and ran at the dragon.

Shard ran behind Blaze, ready to attack.

Dewdrop roared as Winter, Firework and Sylvia streaked by him, fanning out. Jumping out behind them, he flew above them, ready to dive in and defend from any attacks. Winter let an icy feeling spread through his chest, and Firework's mouth glowed red. Sylvia took a deep breath.

The dragon grinned. As more blood dripped from his mouth onto the ground beside him, the blood and the ground darkened, and black vines began to sprout up from the ground, creating a protective force field around him. He yawned and looked at them.

Blaze narrowed his eyes and halted, not wanting to get one of the now very pointed thorns stuck in him. He looked around the right side for an entrance.

Shard didn't stop in time and crashed into the force field. Thorns jabbed into her sides and tail.

Ony grit her teeth and skidded to a halt, thinking. She looked at her tail, an idea coming to her, and approached the barrier cautiously. She got her tail under one of the vines and pulled with all of her might, in an attempt to loosen it up.

The dragon narrowed its eyes, but did nothing. It was weakening, that was certain.

Blaze spotted a newly created hole and squeezed inside. He threw himself at the dragon, digging his claws into the dragon's back.

Shard was still looking for an entrance into the barrier.

"Almost..." Ony grunted, continuing to pull, until the weakened barrier gave way under her pressure, sending her and the vine flying. She tumbled onto the ground. "Ouch."

Winter shot through the opening, and darted right up to the dragon's face, letting loose a subzero frost breath.

Firework dove under the dragon's belly and started blasting every scale she could with fire.

Sylvia continued roaring and frying parts of the barrier, flying from vine to vine.

Dewdrop catapulted after Blaze and dug his claws in hard.
