Arbok:
*Hands her the little baggie of leftover cookies*
Here, you need something sugary to keep you going, i've had my
fill
*Smiles and doesn't leave Fae*
basically we started in a chasing
scene, the dragons are from a village they've been chased out of by
humans; or 'hunters', who are- obviously - hunting them. The
dragons and humans had a truce, but yeah. Anywho- they took shelter
in a cave when they threw the humans off their trail, and now
everyone who survived/didn't get caught is in there.
((love your profile pic. It's just so great! :D ))
Jack was at the back of the cave, licking his new tail wound. I had
been completely chopped off. Those humans! He would kill every last
one for this disfigurement! Jack growled deep in his chest, causing
some pebbles to clatter onto his scales.
Vixen's ear swiveled to face Jack, while the rest of her body lay
limp. She fwapped her tail on the ground in frustration, she'd been
perched in the small hollow of the cave's wall since moon rise, and
Vii still couldn't fall asleep. Leaping down, she trotted to the
cave's entrance, off to find something better than sitting around
to do. It would never hurt to catch more food, but she knew that
the 'rule followers' would skin and cook it. She preferred her meat
raw, and freshly caught. Not waiting to ask permission, Vii
unfurled her wings, and took to the sky.
Mavet noticed Fae crying and was about to comfort her, but she
noticed Arbok speed up to help. She sighed, leaning back into the
wall a bit more. She brought a frail hand up to wipe away a bit of
water from her face... Huh? Oh, those were tears. She always had
this happen at random, she'd cry for seemingly no reason. She
wondered if there was a part of her mind that always suddenly
remembered bad things, whether or no she was thinking about it.She
swiped up the salty, warm tears, and shivered from the night's cool
air.
((ALSO!! NerdyMako will be gone, so i have been asked to take care
of her character. Please, nobody else do so <3))
Sykion was curled up against one of the walls, sleeping. Her tail
swayed in a drowsy way, and her mouth was open. She breathed
softly, her head leaning against the wall a bit.
Jack shifted to his human form. He looked around. Why weren't any
of the other dragons planning to squash the humans? Jack would have
to do that on his own. He started towards the entrance of the
cave.
Arbok:
*Notices Mavet, shivering*
Hey Marvet? Come here, you don't need to be alone in this cold air
right now, can't risk you getting sick at all
*Holds her arms out*
Mavet looked up at the sound of her name, her pointed ears perking
a bit. She smled, nodding. She stood, walking over and curling up
against Arbok, in between the two. She let out a hum, blinking
slowly. Her tongue flicked out to supply water to her dry lips. She
noticed a figure walking towards the cave, but thought nothing of
it.
Arbok:
Are you thirsty Mavet? I have some clean water in my bag in the
bamboo shoots, won't taste all to well, but it will keep you more
hydrated and less likely to get sick, and if your hungry, there is
some berrys i found, don't worry, they are safe enough to eat
Jack looks back into the cave as he leaves, disgusted with them. He
had dealt with humans before, but nothing like the monsters that
had chopped off his tail. He would make them pay. And these so
called 'dragons' will just sit here, licking their wounds. "So
long, eggshells."
((new insult I came up with for dragons, means that they are but
just the part of the egg a dragon hatches from, not a true dragon.
Also, who are the humans?))
"Oh! No, ma'am. My lips just get dry easily. I'll be okay until
breakfast." The young girl said politely, shaking her head. She ran
her tongue along her teeth, sighing as she cut it on her sharp
canines. It was a dumb habit she needed to quit. She looked at the
figure, and picked up a hurtful tone do to the fact it wasn't too
far. She hissed lightly.
Arbok:
Just ignore him Mavet, any dragon stupid enough to face a army of
humans alone deserves the death that awaits them, as Elder Kanii
taught us, "There is no greater shame then loosing your life to
stupidity in battle", if he wants to leave this cave and die, then
so it it
"He insulted us... And you'll just let that slide? I'm sorry, but
no one insults my friends." Mavet said, crossing her arms. She
turned to the retreating figure and yelled just so he could hear
"At least we have more dragonpower, and more respect!"
Arbok:
Insults do not mean anything, they are just empty words from a
coward that knows his death is certain, let him go, if he wants to
kill the humans so badly, let them toture his soul for all of
eterity
