Mudkip cocked his head and ran into the forest to play hide and seek with Flare. Vera giggled and went back to her work. Surskit decided to bother Ninetales as usual by spinning around her when she tried to nap.

Mudkip looked happier than ever. He eventually ran into the water where Flare could not follow and stuch his tongue out. Vera laughed and put her laptop away to watch.

Mudkip made a sad face and ran out of the water to Flare and patted his head. Mudkip smiled hoping to make Flare smile too. Vera giggled and looked through her backpack for a snack.

"Really? Flare hasn't evolved yet?" Vera asked suddenly curious. She looked at Flare and smiled. Mudkip dissapeared into the bushes for a second and brought back a couple berries for Flare and him to share.

"Yea he refused to evolve. The professor from my town finds it odd. Me I don't care as long as my Pokemon are happy." Nick said. He knew there had to be a reason behind his Charmander from evolving. Flare cheered happily.

"Flare can do what he wants to do." Vera said smiling. She got up and sat down next to Nick instead of sitting a bench away from him. Mudkip handed Flare an even number of berries and there was one left over. Mudkip cocked his head and looked at Flare.

Flare shrugged just as Flyer grabbed the left over berry. "Char!" Flare yelled at Flyer, who flew off to eat the berry in peace. "True and it seems flyer took the last berry." Nick said with a small laugh.

Mudkip smiled and ate the berry. Mudkip pushed one of his berries toward Flare and clapped his hands. Vera smiled and opened her laptop again to finish editing. She set up a camera next to her and continued editing.
