Leli ran over to a corner and picked up a Pokeball. "I claim this one! It's mine!" she shouted, while Justin calmly walked over to Leli and picked up the Pokeball that was next to the one Leli selected. "I got mine! And Leli has hers!" he called. Silently, Justin was hoping for a Swablu or Snivy, while Leli hoped for a Larvesta or Venipede.

There's nothing more beautiful than the rain.

Leli rolled her eyes. Like every generic Pokémon journey? she thought, trying to not yell it out for fear that the Professor would think she was weird. "Can we open the Pokeballs now?" she asked, impatient to see what Pokémon she got.

Leli excitedly opened up the Pokeball she held. Inside was a Larvesta. [and Venipede?] "Yes! I got a Larvesta!" she squeaked excitedly, holding the Bug-Fire Pokémon lovingly. "Hey bro, what did you get?" the 19-year old asked. Justin opened up the Pokeball he held, and a Swablu flew out excitedly. "That," he said calmly.

A Venipede scurried out of the Pokeball after the Larvesta. "Oh. Well, I guess your dream came true," Justin commented, then yelped as a Snivy came out of the Pokeball he held. The grass snake scrambled onto his face. Leli laughed. "I guessssssss you're having a bad day, eh?" Leli asked, holding out the 's' to sound like a sssssssnake.

Justin nodded. "Yeah," he replied, "but I guess it just ssssssscared me." He and Leli high-fived, and his sister laughed. "Nice, one day you'll be the best pun maker ever. But I'm still the best," Leli said, then ran off after her Venipede. "Get back here!" she called to the Bug-Poison Pokémon.

Leli finally caught up to her Venipede and ran after Aimi and Light. "I'm coming with you, whether you like it or not!" she yelled, running out the doors of the Pokémon center. [her Larvesta is resting on her shoulder while her Venipede is held in her hands]

Justin sighed and patted his Swablu's head as soon as it landed on his shoulder. "I'll call you Cloudy, because you're going to be a giant cloud. And I'll name you--" he poked his Snivy's head "--Serpentine. Now let's go." Serpentine ran after its trainer, while Cloud floated above his head.
