shade walked into the living room to find both of them playing with one of the small toy's he had when he was a kid.
''it was nice of mom to send these over..'' he sighed, going over and picking them both up.
''come on vanilla, storm, time for you're nap's'' he said, heading to they're room.
storm was chewing on a rubber duck while vanilla was playing with an electronic toy book.

shade kissed both vanilla and storm on the head and smiled.
''sleep tight little one's, love you both....'' he murmured, turning on a couple of the nightlight's and cranking up a small music box.
he let the soft lullaby play and walked out of the room, turning the light off and leaving the door open just a tiny bit.
he went back to his bedroom and sat down on the bed.
