Synthia suddenly had an idea. Those kids they met were heading the same direction as them, so mabye they were close enough. She stretched her mind as far as she could. Finally she could sense the mind of the tree boy, Ruby if she remembered right. She then used as much of her power as she felt safe, to project her consciousness at his location. If she did this right she would be able to communicate with them. As she pushed further she could feel a dull pain in the back of her mind. When her mind reached Ruby the pain had escalated to a sharp sting. Her vision in this form was strange. Everything looked like a coloring book that hadn't been filled in. 'Testing! Testing can you here me!?'

Kyle looked under the bed and in drawers for unusual things he found something with a blue light blinking he placed it on the floor and squashed it. It had computer looking chips which kyle also squashed "Soooo..." Kyle said and looked around the room "Now what..
