Blaze set out on patrol, alone since he was the only one who could fly. Soon, he saw two zombies, a butterfree and a beedrill. "So many zombies around here." He complained, before sending a fire charge towards them. Having the strong type advantage, he quickly took them both out. In the distance, as he rose back into the air, he saw a wave wave of bug type zombies. But then again, it was a forest. He shrugged, before returning. Ready to report the mass of bug type zombies he saw to haku.
It's okay to be a glowstick, sometimes we need to break before we glow.

Blaze heard the commotion so he flew over, finding haku, kayla and mousa attacking a zombie gengar. " I thought gengars are dead souls, how in the name of arceus do they become zombies?" He cawed, flying down with a flame charge ready.
It's okay to be a glowstick, sometimes we need to break before we glow.

"Fire and Flying don't really touch poison and ghost. I should be okay!" He yelped, as he started to flap his wings really fast. "Brace yourself, I'm about to whip up razor wind!" He shouted, before the small tornado looking attack was formed.

(Whoops, this got pretty long c': Also, assuming Mallow is near the group: tree dwelling creature - actually Kayla.)

Fleeing from whatever was in that tree led him, funnily enough, to a deeper part of the forest. Mallow hid behind some bushes, then flopped down in exhaustion. If he was being followed, they now won't see him and it'll give him some time to catch his breath.

Looking up at their crowns, these trees seemed taller than the previous ones, and he noticed some activity there: some Bug-types, namely a Beedrill and some Butterfrees, fluttered around aimlessly; their random flight pattern, along with the calmness, were distracting enough for him to forget his actual situation and eventually start feeling sleepy.

Fighting off that need, Mallow got up. There were more important things to do, like finding his group... or keep away from the zombies. As he peeked out of the bush, he noticed a small, spider-like Pokemon not too far from him. It was a Spinarak, even though it missed some legs and its right eye was heavily damaged...

Uh-oh.

Just as he was about to escape, the little zombie let out a high-pitched shriek; which in turn made a larger one go off a nearby tree, landing in front of the Nidorino. Terrified, Mallow kicked the spider's face before attempting once again to run away from them. The Ariados shoot out a fine line of silk, effectively trapping its would-be prey by his left back leg. As he tried to remove it with his front paws, the zombie shoot another line, now leaving him unable to escape.

Suddenly, the flying Bug-types swarmed around frantically. Apparently, something attacked them and now they were fleeing from it. Both spiders hissed at something unknown before scurrying away.

"I noticed!" He shouted back. The gengar wasn't weakening a lot. Only slightly, mostly from his razor wind and A couple of shadow balls. He Cawed, then soared downwards, natural speed fastened by quick attack. If attacks couldn't do much, a crash at the speed he was going at would at least hurt and wounded the gengar. It was all up to physical attacks now. Now, talonflames were fast birds of prey. But a full speed talonflame shooting down at you with a quick attack making it even faster is almost fatal to every pokemon. The ground drew closer and he aimed his beak straight at the gengar. 1...2...3 He head planted into the back of the pokemon. Gengar was obviously not expecting that. As it gave a small cry of despair. Now weakened, the gengar started walking towards the others. Blaze tried to fly over, but the wind was knocked out of him. He would at least be dazed for a while. But with the gengar now weakened, the others should be able to take it on.

Haku grinned savagely as she shot two to three Shadow Balls in sequence, before following up with Bite. The Gengar, however, kept walking despite having endure a lot of attacks.
