Welcome!
This thread was created for art appreciation of my own work, where I post something I drew from the past or as of recent (be it a simple sketch or a commission I did for someone). This is a way for me to grow confidence and feel motivated to get even better.

Some things about me:
I am self-taught and have used tracing in my younger years to help me out. I always doodled on schoolwork because I got bored easily, and this is probably the reason I don't draw a lot these days (I have other things to entertain me now that I'm not in school).
Non-human is what I mostly draw, but I plan to try drawing humanoids because I have this special OC in my heart whom I really want to show off to people, but no matter how much I pictured her in my mind, I could never draw her as I imagine.
Shading is not my friend XD -I expect to learn and improve on that!

Thank you for reading!

This is from June 6th of 2015 for an Instagram art contest. The characters are Ravenpaw and Tigerclaw.

I remember how happy I was after finishing this!! This is my first, successful (at least in my opinion), Warrior cat fan art. I had never done a background before, but I still find this successful. It's a little strange with my attempt at the glow effect because I was just getting used to AutoDesk SketchBook (which I still use).

Ravenpaw turned out super cute!
With Tigerclaw in the back, I had regretted not putting in a wicked grin since the bottom area is lacking in something more. Overall, I still love this piece and I am definitely going to remake it with my improved style :)

imma point out my main issue with this one, her eyes are way above her muzzle! I noticed from the start but I was too stubborn and didn't want to mess anything up by fixing the muzzle...

With that out of the way, I do like how I drew the muzzle in general - though it just needs improvement (it was my first time). This piece needs more emotion, considering the situations Badger has been through, and I did try to make her look like her head was slightly lowered, that she was all submissive and stuff.
BUT I appreciate her eyes more than anything! I always try to put special focus on eyes! I found a style for them and I'm sticking to it. When I get to shading, these babies will look divine! Of course, there IS an improvement to be made because I might change something in the future - who knows.

These works are part of a slideshow kind of thing I did for the fun of it. This one has to be my favorite compared to the above because I decided to draw tears. I googled how to draw tears and found a piece that showed a simple tutorial. Thing is, I can't find that tutorial again, so now I forgot how to draw those tears! pffft XD - I can't even zoom in enough to see how I did it !!
This piece is also where I first drew blood. I'm still satisfied with the result, specifically the pawprint! I also think I did a little better with emotion for this one :)

These two were drawn on February 24th of 2018 of my OC Badger for an AWESOME Instagram clan
