Lithar tilts his head and starts tapping along to the song."I don't
know it I am afraid."He tells her quietly. He then gently opens the
door and holds it open for Mira.
Ria looks up from where she's ripping apart a dummy. "Oh. You
again." She doesn't say it in a bad wah, more of a neutral way.
An odd dragon-like creature with warm gray scales and a longer,
lean body is at a table, her long tail with spread-out feathers at
the end wrapped around a vial. Her antlers are pure gold, along
with her small, needle-like teeth and seemingly harmless blunt
claws. Her legs are somewhere between long and short, and her snout
is a bit stubby. Electric blue, feather-like spines, similar to the
ones on her tail, run down her spine, relaxed and laying flat. She
wears a thick collar with gold and black symbols, matching
bracelets on her front two legs, and a pair of wire-rimmed glasses.
She doesn't even glance up as the door opens.
"Hm?" The dragon-like Alia glances up, her black eyes emotionless
and intelligent. "Ah, Ria, turn off the music please. It appears we
have visitors."
Ria leaps into the air, floating over to a little square of silver
on the wall, and presses it. The music instantly stops. "Can we
please play some Fall Out Boy next? Your classical stuff it boring,
Ritie."
Mira giggled at the two. "Sorry. You can keep playing it, if you'd
like. I don't mind. We just were told to find Ritie, because she
can tell us more about the Alia?"
"Anything! But... Let's start with..." Mira thought a moment.
"Okay, maybe you could explain this whole 'section' system better?
Are there more than just Healers and Fighters?"
"Ah! The divisions! Yes, there are Fighters, such as Ria, and
Healers, such as Ikia, but they go within bigger divisions. The
five are Lin, Beria, Jiki, Seriah, and Nor. Lin are the
earth-centered creatures, this includes Healers, Growers, and
Aliasts. Beria are the creativity-centered ones, including mostly
Artists and Archis. There's Jiki, the light and dark Alia, which
are rarer. Seriah are magic-based, and the Fighters go there. Nor
are the mentalists, and a few Healers are in there, but it's
usually Empaths or Teles." Ritie explains.
Papi hummed away as he scratched pictures of moths into a wall in
his cell. He sighed sadly when his last remaining nail broke. While
sucking on his finger to ease the pain and to stop the bleeding,
Papi crawled onto his bed. Sighing, he stared up at the ceiling
with boredom.
"Over a hundred. But the divisions aren't based on species. They're
based on power. Take Ria, form example. She comes from a mostly
peaceful species, and her powers are magic-based, so she's a
Seriah. She's classified as a Fighter because of her personality,
and the kind of magic she has, which is mostly for attack. Me, on
the other hand, I am a Beria because of my powers that allow me to
manipulate substances of expression or creativity. I am classified
as a Chemia, since I specialize in science." Ritie explains.
"Are there any classifications that overlap each other?"Lithar
asked with a tilt to his head. His fingers tapped out a pattern
against on of the walls he was leaning on.
