Kauri couldn't help eavesdropping on the older cats, and her ears perked at the mention of apprenticeship. She snuck up right behind Firelight and poked her head out to the side, looking at the unfamiliar cat. "F-Firelight, who's this?" She asked the medicine cat in a somewhat shy voice, her curious eyes darting from Firelight to Snowflank.

Kauri stepped out from Firelight's shadow, tentatively sneaking up to Snowflank. Her nose twitched as she looked up at the white she-cat. "N-Nice to m-m-m-meet you Snowflank. I-I'm Kauri." She mumbled, still a bit shy. She shuffled her paws a bit, looking back to Firelight as she remembered something. "Y-You said you wanted an apprentice, r-right? H-how old do you have t-to be to be-become an apprentice?" She inquired, curious.

"Ch-change.. My name?" Kauri tilted her head to the side, a bit confused. "What would my n-name be ch-changed to? How d-does the name changing w-work?" She was awfully puzzled by all this starclan-name-changing business going on and such. She was sure there was no name changing from wherever she had come from, but then again, she couldn't even remember where she had come from.
