As far as I remember, every option will give you the Hoopa egg. However, the egg won't break your shiny chain. Also, if you don't want it taking up your party space while you're on your hunt, you can just leave Rowan hanging, the prompt to claim the Hoopa egg will remain there until you pick it up.

The puzzle pieces can be found while using many of PH's features. So, if you want to find puzzle pieces, just go around trying out the different activities on the site.

If you want a more specific answer, this wiki page lists all the puzzles and which feature on PH give you puzzle pieces for each puzzle.

It seems you figured it out already? But in case anyone else is wondering, you can add pokemon with the "train" button wherever you wish by going to Share Widgets in the Community tab. Select the pokemon you want, click share, and copy&paste the code given to you where you want your pokemon to go.

You've got it. When people refer to "junkmon" they mean any old normal pokemon that has basically no value. (Due to the GTS requiring you trade an equal amount of pokemon, you have to add junkmon to your offer if you wish to trade items for a pokemon for example.)

It is possible, yes. I don't think we peasants have ever been privy to the exact chances of encountering specific shadow pokemon rarities, but we can influence those chances. The more shadows you have caught, the higher your chances of encountering rarer shadow pokemon. So, even if your pool of shadow pokemon for a day doesn't include any you want or need, you should still catch one to increase your shadow pokemon catching experience.

Additionally, they can actually be found in your item bag, they're located in the key items tab as they cannot be sold or traded between users.

Mew is a staple for PH's anniversary at the beginning of July each year. Getting a regular mew during the event is not particularly hard and many users who have been members for multiple years usually have multiple spare mews they can sell. You can check the last anniversary event announcement thread if you want specifics on how the mew event works.

The Legendary chip for the Egg Radar allows you to search for certain legendary pokemon eggs in the Tall Grass (Latios & Latias, Keldeo, and Cosmog) but each legendary also requires a legendary item to be searchable (Enigma Stone, Resolute Stone, and Nebula Stone). (Here's he wiki page for Tall Grass if you need more info.)

As for how valuable these Tall Grass legendaries are, the Market Insider values them like so at the time being:
> Latios/Latias: 85k
> Keldeo: 30k
> Cosmog: 2,5k

Meanwhile, the Shadow Radar lets you search for shadow versions of pokemon (only including Kanto and Johto pokemon for now). The wiki page for it should do a good enough job to explain it and has handy pictures so you can actually see what the minigame looks like.

The most valuable shadow is probably shadow ditto, it's valued at 4 million in the market insider for now. I don't think many have been sold so I'm not sure how accurate that is. Meanwhile, shadow legendaries seem to sit around 250k to 300k+. (You can check for any specific shadows with the market insider linked above, just change the url to whatever pokemon you wanna see.)

So I guess shadows have more potential profits. However, getting those big profit shadow pokemon would probably take quite a bit of time. Since you get a random pool of 3 or 5 shadows per region each day (depending on if you're premium or not), the rarity of those shadows is influenced by how many shadows you've caught already, and you can only catch one per day if you don't buy the upgrades for the radar.

No, whether the pokemon you breed are shiny or not does not affect the chance that the resulting egg(s) turn out shiny.

Just a small thing I noticed in the message when choosing the zarude plushie:

QuoteZarude seems to be a bit sad about decision. It hesitates handing you the plushie, cuddling it one last time.
You take it thankfully and Zarude runs off.

I assume it should be "Zarude seems to be a bit sad about your decision."

Well, you seem to have the basic Hisui form change down. For other Hisui evolutions, I think they've all been announced in the Minor Updates thread and, since they're all very recent, you don't have to go digging deep into the thread. I think all the Hisui news are on page 19 and onwards. (Except for the zorua and growlithe, I think, since they were announced in the 9th anniversary news post.)

It's a very new update and indicates how good your pokemon's IVs are. You can read more about it in the Minor Updates thread.

You can use fossils in the Ancient Cave to "summon" fossil pokemon. (You get an egg of the pokemon in your party and the fossil is used up in the summoning so you can get one pokemon per fossil).

A fish fossil gets you an Arctovish. (For any other fossils you might find in your possession, you can check this wiki page to see what pokemon they summon.)

CatLady's onto the issue here. Luxray belongs in the "Field" egg group while Neptuneon is "Fairy" so they can't produce eggs. If you want Luxray eggs, you should find a pokemon that also belongs on the Field egg group (though another luxray would be the best and most convenient).

The same goes for neptuneon. (However, when breeding event pokemon, you get both event eggs and the "normal" variant of the pokemon with the latter being more prevalent. In the case of neptuneon, a neptuneon pair would produce solar eevee and regular eevee eggs with most of the eggs being regular eevee.)

You can check what egg group a pokemon belongs to in the Pokedex or consult this egg group guide (though it hasn't been updated in a while and is therefore missing pokemon).

Plus, if you wanna learn more about breeding eggs or have more questions, you can check the Daycare Wiki page and this daycare/breeding guide.

Yes, all castforms have the same egg group so they should all be able to breed with each other just fine. (Provided they're different genders and you have deposited enough money in the daycare of course.)

Yeah, 5 white powders per egg and they're not very common on the Bulletin Board so it'll take a while before you're able to get to cooking (unless you murder your PD balance and buy the white powders from others).

Virizion berries:
Show hidden content
15 Aguav Berry (Minimum Level: 15)
10 Lum Berry (Minimum Level: 10)
5 Micle Berry (Minimum Level: 5)

Cobalion berries:

You pretty much just need the white powder from the Bulletin Board. By cooking 5 white powders and an assortment of some berries (that you'll probably have just laying around anyway), you get a new powder (silver, brown, or green) depending on which legendary you wanna "cook" for yourself. Then you just cook the silver/brown/green powder into an egg.

I think the low fertility means berries take longer to grow. So I've mainly used the third garden to grow berries for the battle items (cheri, chesto, pecha, aspear, and rawst), since those berries have shorter growing times (and you need a lot of them for one battle item so the size of garden 3 works great for that).

For me, having garden 3 is really convenient when I garden so I'd say it's worth it to me. Whether it's worth it to you really depends on how much/what you garden and if there's other potential uses for that PD that could be more useful to you for the time being.
