"So... I'm Rick, nice to meet you!" I said. I held out my... umm... paw, but the Pikachu, who's name was Static, backed away. "Humans were here before," he said, "They killed my family!" He was scared of me. I sighed. "I should've expected that," I said, "Okay, I get why you're scared, but I used to be afraid of pokemon too." Static looked surprised. I looked down. "A pokemon killed my parents," I said. Static was still scared. Then, I saw something coming at Static. "LOOK OUT FOR THE HYPER-" I said as I jumped in front of Static, and took the hit. "Augh!!!" I said as pain surged through my body, and I passed out.

After a bit of walking, I saw Tom and Z, being surrounded by the poochyena. "So that's what they're growling at," I said. "Get out! This is our cave!" a Poochyena said. I jumped in front of Tom and Z. "We're sorry," I said, "We didn't mean to intrude, we'll leave now." "Yeah... sorry" Jet and Blaze said, and we pushed Tom and Z out of the cave. (Tom and Z still don't know that Rick can understand pokemon, btw)
