Rose shifts her shoulders again. "It's complicated." she decides on. Why was she back? That was a question that would later need answering. "I couldn't let my former friends and former home be destroyed by former enemies." she took another deep breath.

Freya shook Blossom's hand. This place was so weird. But she didn't say anything, and remained polite fully silent. Rose seemed exceedingly uncomfortable, as if she really wasn't sure what she was doing here. Freya felt a pang of sympathy for Rose. Rose had remade her self time and time again, only to have every attempt bashed.

Rose takes a step back, unsure of how to proceed. "Uh hi... Blossom. Yeah it... it has been a while hasn't it?" she takes a deep breath and manages a smile. "I've been... well not okay, but I'm still alive so I suppose that says something." she looks uncomfortable. "This is Freya Ventress." she says, gesturing for Freya. Freya dips her head. "Frostbladed Knight." Freya offers, giving Blossom her official title from back where she's from.

"I heard..." Rose doesn't say anything, but bitterness seeps into her voice. "I think you know what I mean though." she says absently. "I want to know about the state of the... city? Nation? Provenance? Whatever you call it anyway." she says, wrinkling her knows and narrowing her eyes. She longs to ask whether or not anyone missed her, or if anyone even noticed she was gone in the first place.

Freya nods. "Yes ma'am." she says, stepping back and pressing her back to a wall. She quietly watches Rose and Tani, knowing she was out of her element. This place was not her home, this place would never be her home. She was here to do a job, and do it, she will.

Rose cocks her head at an angle. "Well Tani, I see you've been well." she says, raising an eyebrow. The bow slung across her shoulder presses into her back, forcing her to reposition herself again. She dips her head to Irida as the latter leaves.

Rose gives Tani another absent smile. "Why do you want to know Miss Tani?" Freya asks, shifting so she's between Rose and Tani. Rose puts her hand on her friend's shoulder. "It's fine Rey, Tani means no harm. She's... an old friend after all." she fixes her gray eyes on Tani. While she struggles to keep her bitterness at being forgotten out of her voice, her eyes display her emotion. Freya looks back at Rose before nodding, sheathing her sword again and stepping back, the way a knight would.

Rose glances around at the scenery as they follow Tani to the city capitol. She hardly recognizes the place that was once her home. It feels odd to be back, after spending so many years alone with Freya living in the woods. She lets out a sigh, getting a worried glance from Freya. Rose bits back a smile. She shifts her shoulders, the bow string biting into her back. Rose hadn't lost herself in a while, but something told her if it's going to happen, if she's going to have a breakdown, today's the day.

Freya steps in front of Rose protectively. "And who might you be?" she narrows her eyes, her posture stiff and poised, as if she was ready to leap into battle at any moment. "Chill Freya." Freya turns towards Rose with narrowed eyes. Rose appears to be holding back a fit of laughter. She elbows Freya. "See? I can be funny." she turns her attention to Tani. "Hello Tani... I bet you didn't expect to see me today did you?" she asks, smiling absently. Freya lets her guard down slightly.

Other (i.e. the backstory, password, etc.): Rose was once filled with anger. She couldn't be reasoned with. After finally growing tired of her continuous war with herself, she gave up. Rose lives by herself, in the woods, and spends her days "playing" with flowers and plants. It takes a lot to rouse Rose, and even more to get her worked up enough to defend herself. She keeps her old black steel claymore and bow locked up in the back of her house. Although she feels satisfied, she still feels... broken.

Title: Format for New RP

It was an ordinary Friday evening. You had just got back from school, finished your homework and pleaded with your parents to have friends over to no avail. You had eaten dinner and gone back upstairs to watch a movie by yourself before bed. That's when the evening got extraordinary. Your closet door was slightly ajar, and seeping with golden light. You call out after hearing what sounds like a parrot's squawk. You open the closet and are blinded by the light. When you open your eys again, and unfamiliar room surrounds you. Yeah, this is definitely not an ordinary evening after all.

Aurora nods. "I think... I think it's for the best Suvansh." she whispered, lowering her eyes and staring at the floor. She closes her eyes, but that doesn't stop the tears pooling in her eyes from falling. She hugs herself, and manages to prevent the dry sobs from escaping her throat.

Holly stares up at the sky. God she really hated her life sometimes. It isn't enough that she has to live in discomfort and pain, but now her best friend was staying in Illvermony. Holly sighs, wondering what Anthony was doing.

Kyr closes her eyes. She mentally pictured a wall between her and the rest of the tributes, blocking them out. She twirled the polearm and began the training simulation. Once upon a time, Kyr knew the simulations were nothing more then orange humanoid shapes. Now they were much more advanced. While they weren't capable of harming her, they were capable of replicating human fighting stance and such.

Kyr's sharp eyes scanned the room. When she spot a couple of swords attached to a wall by metal hooks, she grabbed two of them and immediately started a simulator. Swords were easily her favorite kind of weapon, because most places didn't have polearms. These swords felt light, easy to handle. Kyr smirked. "Fun." she whispered, beheading another simulated figure with ease. Aryyc say on Kyr's shoulder, somehow managing to not fall off. "You should meet more people and make some allies!" the kwami suggested. Kyr paused long enough to respond. "I'm not sure..."
