Kari stays frozen, in sheer panic about being spotted. They then back up a bit and start rapidly muttering a repeated string of the phrases "I'm sorry" and "Please don't hurt me" in no real set order.

Kouko sat in thought for a good while. Well, now what? I can't tell if it'll be able to control its power in the wild... But I suppose it's free now. All I can hope for is that it can find peace.

"B-break through..." Being given the strength to break out, Kari ran their claw against the wall, looking for the door. Upon finding the small dent, they backed up, and fired to fire whatever move first came to mind, Photon Geyser. Horribly unused to their temporary power, they ended up slamming into the wall behind them. When they next opened their eyes, Kari immediately saw that the attack blew the door completely off, and even damaged the walls quite a bit. Not wanting to risk being too slow, Kari took flight and left the room.

Kouko sighed, mainly directed at herself. "I guess this is karma, huh...?" Despite feeling as if she deserved it, she glanced around at her options of escape, but they were all too risky to attempt going for. Instead, she opted to hide behind a nearby desk, which was bolted into the ground. She was hoping that, worst case scenario, the desk would maybe break off and she'd only get a bruise from the events about to take place.

Kari's eyes shot open. "F-free?" they asked the voice they very clearly just heard, flinching from the raspy sound of their own voice. Their eyes glance around the room, which is practically empty. Exactly as Kari remembered it when they were put there in the first place. They remembered that the door was cleverly disguised as a wall on the inside, but even if they took the time to find it, it was locked from the outside anyways. They couldn't really try to break out either; they just weren't strong enough to do any significant damage. But, if freedom is coming... then maybe... And with that thought, the first glimmer of hope in a long time came to Kari's eyes.

"Fate..." Kouko mused, looking at her creation(Of course, it was made with cooperation of everyone in the lab, but she preferred to think of it as hers in her own time.). Its purpose was to serve a role like Audino and Indeedee-- a healer-- although it was modeled off of the Mew clone and a confidential cancelled project taking place in the Unova region. The idea was to have a small amount of them make up a species, and in case of a Pokémon battle with serious damages dealt, it could be used to help heal the critically healed Pokémon. But, no matter how noble the purpose was, Kouko couldn't help but think of all the other Pokémon that had to suffer for this one to exist.

Kouko sits down, cup of tea in hand. "Well, it's great. We've worked very hard for this day to come, and I hope to be able to gradually introduce this new species into the ecosystem. But... between you and me, I think that we've done more harm than good. Our methods of studying Pokémon are cruel and unusual, and at this rate we might even end up treating the new Pokémon like this." She pauses, taking a sip, before continuing, "Life isn't meant to be kept in captivity, and yet, here we are. If there was something I could do, I would. But I don't want to be rash. Endangering the Pokémon being held is the last thing I want to do."

Personality: They're very timid, and untrusting of most people. They're also very apologetic, to the point where their most frequently used word is "sorry".
Any distinguishing characteristics: As a result of experimentation, they've been placed into a permanent Ultra state. However, due to the faulty methods, they're extremely small compared to other Necrozma, being only about four feet tall. Their power is also severely stunted, although on rare occasion they can experience a massive burst in energy that they can't control. Capable of human speech.

From a business standpoint, making a game with every region in it is just a bad move. There are groups of people who are already dissatisfied with new generations the way things are now. If they release a super huge game like that, they're either just setting themselves up for fan backlash, or the end of the Pokémon series.

Sure, a super huge game like that WOULD sell amazingly. But saying that implies that main series Pokémon games don't already hit top 100, when in fact the only generations that didn't place top 50 out of every game out there are 5 and 6. (Source)

The fact of the matter is that TPC won't do something crazy like that unless they're planning to end (or heavily slow down production of) the Pokémon series. What they already have works for them. They don't NEED to listen to their vocal fanbase because pandering to them is more costly and time deficient than just sticking to their plan. Even if people "boycott" their games, that's really not gonna make a huge dent in performance. That being said, they still want to make as much as they can. If 100 people pull out of buying a Pokémon game, that's $6,000 TPC doesn't get. And thanks to social media, 100 can turn into 10000, or even 100000. (I hesitate to say it could reach the millions, though.) Like I said, losing 100,000 sales isn't actually as big of a deal as it seems, because over 20 million copies of Sword/Shield were bought, not even counting DLC. $6,000,000 is a LOT of money (for us casuals, anyways) to lose out on though, and the whole point of business is to sell a lot while spending as little as reasonably possible.

I'm not "siding" with Game Freak or The Pokémon Company on how they run their business, but it's understandable, knowing how business works.

tl;dr: In TPC's eyes, a huge game like that is an unnecessary venture at this stage because they already have stable income from many fronts.

Personality and Nature: Roy's a fairly introverted person by nature, but when he gets to know someone, he gets platonically attached to them fairly easily. In a fight, he tends to be less than reliable, but he'll try to contribute in any way he can, typically through support moves, although he isn't afraid to try and fight head on when push comes to shove.
Moveset: Light Screen, Thunder Wave, Electro Ball, Take Down
Other: I know that my playtime is super short, but I hope to be able to be a part of this roleplay throughout its runtime. Also, just as a small pet peeve, but the text used for the plot synopsis is a little hard to read against the background. It's not a huge deal, but the font color could be a tad bit darker.
