No support.

I find this idea a rather blatant way to try and make megas seem OP. I'm not really sure how I can say I don't support for reasons other than this: making Pokemon suddenly not able to hold items because you think they'll be OP will then trickle down to people saying make legendaries not hold battle items either. Then most people's teams will be messed up and you'll have more people complaining about this.

So, no support, and the whole reasoning for trying to weaken mega able Pokemon seems a bit silly by saying they can't hold items. That affects more than just battling, means I can't give my mega any items to hold now. It's not needed.

I'm assuming this suggestion was different before being edited in the first post. However I would not recommend making a place for people to put their suggestions to prevent being critiqued, or something, not sure what you were trying to say with this statement:
Quotedon't look like a doof by people criticizing you check here first and make sure its a good idea
The whole point of making suggestions is to get critique and see if the idea will help the site or not. No one should be viewed at as stupid or a "doof" just because they suggested an idea already suggested or they don't get support.

We are all looking for the betterment of the site, not to bash other users or insult them just because of an idea.

As for checking if your idea has already been made: look over the rejected suggestion and/or use the search forum magnifying glass in the corner. It prevents multiple ideas from being suggested.

Exchanging PD for nuggets/real money was just recently suggested and rejected because it was also suggested, and rejected, here by the way.

And as said by Riako
Quote from RiakoYou can buy Pokedollars from other users with bought nuggets Many users would be happy to trade their PDs for your nuggets.

Same applies here. If you have PD, then buy nuggets. If you have nuggets then sell them for PD. Of course keep in mind the minimum amount of nuggets you can trade is 50 small nuggets. But since you get small nuggets for free after logging in PH for so many days straight, value increasing after certain levels, you wouldn't need to spend millions of PD for just a small nugget. Just log in.

So no support and this has been suggested before.

What would this show exactly?

By average level of the Pokemon of the members you mean a range of levels? Or the biggest amount of levels of Pokemon?

Besides, that number would most likely be low anyway considering all the people shiny hunting and hoarding level 1 Pokemon just hatched and stuffed into boxes. And since most people focus on filling their party with eggs instead of Pokemon, the average level might stay low for quite some time.

No support for reasons stated, mainly the coding.

I understand frustration in trying to find a Pokemon you know the name of but not the dex number, however if you know the name it could be an easy search for the dex number in google to find it or just scroll through the box for the select Pokemon you need.

I find it more organized in general to be by dex number, I wouldn't want different gen Pokemon being all mixed up in my Pokedex box just because of the name.

QuoteThere be a notification when someone replies to a comment that you made on their feed.

Or adding a link that follow or unfollow this feed
that was in the second link I linked to.

I'm sure that's what this suggestion is suggesting. So, it'd be best to go to that suggestion and voice support or no support instead of making a new suggestion about the same idea.

Following someone's feed has been suggested here but it's a bit different perhaps.

It is more about feeds being annoying and having a choice of following them or not, but it seems to have a similar concept to this.

However there was also this if you think that's similar.

If I'm reading this right you want to be able to know when your username and password was changed by email to prevent hackers from getting into your account.

Maybe because I am not in school I can't relate to this scenario but one: you shouldn't be playing games in school without logging out of your account. It's like going to a public computer, logging into your email, and leaving it there for others to see. That's not even hacking at that point.

So, if you just log out of your account then that solves the problem shouldn't it? And you can't change your user name for certain periods of time so that wouldn't work.

And let's say someone does log into your account because you left it open at school, and doesn't change the password? Can't you just change it yourself and now the user is locked out?

But again if you simply log out of your PH account I'd think that'd be enough to prevent "school hackers" from tapping into the matrix and stealing your account haha xD

So no support unless maybe some more explanation is added

I don't think it's necessary.

If the lowest frequency for a Pokemon is 17, it's safe to assume that the shiny frequency is zero or a user got pretty lucky with a super easy chain. So your lowest frequency shinies would be "1" since you can't have zero (if you could then it'd just be legendaries and such on the list), and even then it's rare for a Pokemon to only have 1 shiny for long, so your lower frequencies might end up being 10 or 20. So, you'd still have the same problem of "I think 17 is too much" but with shinies instead.

The lowest frequencies I could think of would be for genderless Pokemon such as Porygon only has 1 shiny right now. But seeing a bunch of genderless Pokemon on a list for lowest frequency shinies isn't surprising and it doesn't motivate others to get those rare shinies since you need a ditto to obtain them or know someone with one. So it'd mainly be ditto owners trying to get these low frequency shiny Pokemon.

If the biggest fear is breaking your chain, and you accidentally go in the lab and take an egg (which I am not sure why people are going to a tab specifically for adopting eggs if they don't want them such as the lab) then yes you should just put it in storage.

When your chain is over, hatch it and sell it off, release it, keep it, breed it, whatever it is you like with it. I understand some people saying "I never want to hatch this egg" but if your biggest concern is breaking your chain and there is a method to store the egg until after your chain is done then that shouldn't be the problem. If you never want to hatch eggs during a hunt then don't go in lab, or if you click the wrong egg in daycare then try and get a pair of Pokemon that are the same and breed them. With egg storage now a thing you don't have to worry about breaking chains from accidental eggs. That's kind of why it's there, to store eggs, whether or not you want to hatch them later is irrelevant.

Even if you only have two spots for egg storage, hopefully you aren't accidentally grabbing three or six eggs from lab at a time or miss clicking eggs in daycare ten times, you'll have space to store eggs to prevent chains from breaking. If you are however getting accidental eggs up in the fives or tens then maybe avoid the lab all together since you might have trigger happy fingers haha. Or if daycare eggs aren't the ones you want then get the identical Pokemon needed to successfully breed if you can, or just watch where you're clicking next time and use a mouse on your computer instead of your fingers on your phone.

Point is the egg storage makes this idea more or less obsolete in my opinion since now we don't have to hatch eggs right away we accidentally claimed. We can wait until the chain is over, hatch them, and move on to the next hunt.

So no support.

You mean you want a way to remove feeds in like a mass amount?

But don't your feeds go away after you or others write so many? At least that's how it looks when I'm on my profile and notifications section and scroll down my feeds.

Well if introducing yourself is still apart of the new tutorial then chances are every new person will do so from now on Trainer_Red,

And as for Harkness' idea of a new list of new players, new players come and go rather quickly. Like I said someone could be on that list for three days or three minutes. Not really helpful at that point. If you want to find new users the introduction thread is probably the best way to do it.

I feel this was suggested and rejected before.

Every time you hatch an egg, if it is mega it will have a mega bubble next to it, and if you're shiny/mega hunting then chances are you'll be in your storage box either releasing these reject Pokemon or moving them to another box to make room for eggs. You'll see if it's mega or not.

If you're that worried about being interrupted by notifications then why not just have another tab opened on your browser just for your notifications? That way when you're doing, whatever it is you're doing that you can't stop doing, and you see the notification icon pop up with a 1 you can check the other tab. It's about as good as getting a pop up taking up your screen to show you the notification.

No support for Notify Pad either.

I see, but you don't reply to news posts though? As in write comments on them. So what is there to "reply" to?

And again I don't know what you're so busy doing that you won't check your notifications after a certain point in time where you need a pop up saying what happens. And if the pop up says "I have eggs in daycare" what are you going to do? If you were too busy to check the notification are you too busy to get the egg, or accept a trade in GTS, or bid on an auction, etc. ect?

So no support. I get quite a lot of notifications already, from easy daycare eggs to my GTS offers, I don't need my screen to be cluttered every time that happens. And I get most people say "turn it off" but if all I'm going to do is turn this off I won't support it.

Oh okay, you want a pop up as apposed to having to leave the page to see the news? And by news feed I am assuming you mean News that'd be on the index page?

Well, considering we don't get news every day, looking at the index page news it is usually quite spread apart, I am sure you won't be doing something so important every time news happens to occur. Besides, I am not sure what you mean by "reply" to the news. You can easily read it, or not read it, and go back to whatever you're doing no problem.

If you're doing something so important that you can't check your notifications, such as gem boiling, maybe interacting, maybe in the heat of battle I suppose, then you don't have to, since the news won't leave and it'll be on the index page.

Also, if you want a "pop up" of sorts you can always open up a new tab yourself for your notifications and look at it there if you mean the news on the Notifications Page.

It might just be me but I'm having trouble reading your suggestion, maybe because it's just one long run on sentence, so can you explain it a bit more for me?

All I got from that is you want news related notifications to pop up, maybe like the same notification that pops up when an egg hatches? Not sure about the replied part however or what that means.

No support since members come and go and fly by when it comes to getting new members. A member could be on that rank list for either three days or three seconds so that isn't really helpful. It makes it seem unfair as well to have an entire rank list for people who have done nothing but register an account.

Considering how there is an introduction thread, you can go there to see the latest members and click them. That is more or less a list of new users, whether or not they write a serious message or spam doesn't matter, they're still new and make a list. So really, if you want to "find newbies" go to the intro thread, you'll find them there haha

Probably because a mod hasn't noticed this yet. But yes a private trade has been suggested and rejected so there is no real reason to bump this thread.
