Alucar tried nodding, but he winced. "Yes, that is what I said." He noticed Ari giving him a worried look and sighed. "Forgive me if I seem... weak to you. An incident occurred, but that's not the point. The reason you're here is to have us trust you, to stop a future war... And we'll give you something in return that helps with your everyday lives."

"I cannot believe I'm going to do this..." Leaf leaned down, grabbing Jesse by his shirt, then dropped him on her back. "There, you'll be faster this way." With a scoff, she eventually reached the cave. "Alucar, I brought them."

Narrator POV

From inside the cave, a small growl echoed. Leaf walked deep into the cave, a respectful look in her eyes until she, Admin, and Jesse were face to face with a large, gray dragon lying on the cold stone.

Alucar's Response

"...Good..." His voice sounded weak as his gentle gaze fixed on the two. "Leaf, you can let him down. The two of you... please sit down."
