Devon watched Viola run to her house. He supposed he should say bye to Raihan as well... Shaking his head he smiled running towards his home. "Raihan! You'll need guess what Leon got me!" Raihan was certainly suprise when Devon threw open the door, blinking once, then twice. "It wouldn't happen to be the Scorbunny you're holding, would it?" Devon nodded, holding out Cipher. "Yeah this is Cipher!"

Raihan nodded, and with a dramatic "tsk." he folded his arms. "Darn. I was hoping I'd be the one to give you your first pokemon."

Devon just shook his head, hugging his brother. "Me and Viola are gonna go to the Wild Area! Then we're gonna go see her grandmother in Ballonlea!"

Raihan smiled, placing a hand on Devon's head. "Well then, just careful. Call me often okay?"

Devon just pulled Raihan's hand away, waving goodbye to his brother as he ran out the door. He didn't want to keep Viola waiting.

Brook kept her eyes on the Team Rocket members as she waited for Hop to pick up the phone. Noticing the Marowak as it let out a growl. She hands started to shake, nearly dropping the phone. Her efforts to keep it in her hand was seemingly in vain when the Ninetales had unexpectedly hissed and it dropped to the ground. She continued to scoot back as the Marowak moved closer, her eyes trapped in the almost mesmerizing flames on the bone. It was going to attack her, and she couldn't do anything. Her Snom had already fainted. "Wait!" She gasped out, holding up her hands, finally tearing her gaze from the pokemon in front of her. What was she even trying to do, she doubted the pokemon would listen. Clearly the fear was messing with her, she couldn't actually think of an escape.

Brook watched, terrified as the Snom was engulfed in flames. Letting out a soft whimper, she quickly returned the pokemon to the pokeball, holding it close. Briefly she wondered if it would be smart to just run, but if she did she could lead them straight to one of their towns. That wouldn't be good. She pulled out her phone, staring at it. Should she call the professor? He surely would be able to help, he assisted in the fight with Eternatus after all. With a small boost of adrenaline, she quickly unlocked her phone, pulling up her contacts and selected the professor. The screen quickly changed as she pressed the call button, and she now listened to the tones, holding her breath.

Brook called back her Snom, watching as Caddie froze in place. Clenching the pokeball tight in her hand she sent out her Snom in font of the Frislass and Nintales. There wa little chance she could win but she ha to give time for Caddie to run. "Use Powder Snow!" The Snom sent out it's attack towards the Frosslass, consequently attacking the Ninetales a well. The small Ice-type seemed pretty confident.

	Brook had let lit a small hiccup as she drew in a deep breath. Team Rocket, here? It seemed so impossible yet... Keeping her Snom tucked into her hands she tried to calm it's frantic shifting. The pokemon failed to understand the situation apparently. She lowered herself so she was sitting on the ground, and slowly started to scoot backwards. She didn't want to alert the Ninetails. Brook had stilled, hearing noises. It had sounded like a human, though it seemed like there was also a pokemon? Standing up, Brook seemed pretty relieved. Maybe she had caught up with one of the trainers? She scooped her Snom into her hands so she could carry it safer, then quickly jogged over towards the the location the sounds originated from. She quickly stopped when a human came into view. A red 'R' worn clearly on their clothing, Brook stumbled backwards. Team Rocket had found them, it seemed impossible. Shaking her head she cupped her hands around the Snom, which had started to grow impatient and started to nibble on her fingers.

Brook huffed, standing by the entrance to Route 1. Did they even come this way? Shaking her head she tread into the route. Her feet brushed past the patches of grass that had slowly started to grow. Brook supposed she would meet up with the trainers who passed through, giving them a pokedex. If they were already ahead she supposed she would have to run. However she would start her research while she waited. She kept Snom on her shoulder as sh pulled out a notepad.

Anthony held himself as a man of great potential. It only made sense, he did after all successfully take hold of not just the Kanto region, but nearly all of them. He adds the nearly due to a simple problem, one he was close to solving. There seeme to he a group of trainers hiding out somewhere. They wouldn't stay hidden for much longer. Just yesterday a patrol of grunts came back, announcing their discovery of a strange tunnel system. There were signs of human life. Walking over to a window, Anthony couldn't help the small grin that crossed his face. He had sent out a team the moment he ha been told of the caves. It would be investigated and any found in the caves would inevitably be properly 'take care of.'

Brook watched as the Professor started to wrap things up. It seemed like everyone had gotten their pokemon. Finally she walked over towards th Dubwool, which had slowly trotted over to her. Brook bent down, looking at the pokeballs.

Brook - Snom. Brook - Murkrow. Brook - Honedge.

Looking up at the Professor, she smiled. "You didn't have to, ya know." Hop simply shrugged, turning towards her.

"You are 16. You don't have to participate in the challenge you don't have to. You could help me with my research a least, but you know... I never have regretted taking the gym challenge when I was a kid. Sure I lost, but I learned a lot about myself, and that's what the gym challenge should be about."

Brook nodded, slipping a hand on a pokeball. "I'll think about it." Picking up a pokeball she sent out the pokemon inside. A cute little Snom now sat in her hand as she walked over to Hop. "You forgot the pokedexes by the way." The Professor seemed panicked, fumbling over to the back holding pokedexes.

"My bad! Anyone who's here, please take one! I know their a little outdated as Rotom are harder to find now days, but they have all the needed information!"

Brook took a few, placing them in her bag. "I'll take some to those who already left." With that she adjusted her bag and left the lab at a steady jog. She had to catch up with those ahead.

While Hop was speaking with Sara, Dubwool noticed the new comers. With a small bleat, it made it's way over to McQueen and Kaoru. The pokeballs shifted on the tray as it trotted over, making a distinct sound as they slid around. The sheep pokemon stopped in front of the two, staring up at them expectantly. On top of the tray sat some pokeballs, and just like the others, they held labels.

McQueen - Stufful. McQueen - Togepi. McQueen - Phantump.

Kaoru - Nickit. Kaoru - Wooper. Kaoru - Noibat

The pokemon Professor paused, hearing Sara's response. He quickly flipped though his pages, no name. What had happened? Setting the paper down he moved into the back. Maybe he left his response in the desk. Throwing opens few drawers, he grimaced. Nothing. Arceus, how could he have been so careless! Shoving his hand in his face, he noticed a few pokeballs in th office. They hadn't been paired with anyone. Picking up the two, he stepped out from the back. The Espurr for Farah was still sitting there. Picking that one up he walked over to Sara. "Sorry bout this." He rubbed the backof his head sheepishly (Wooloo-ey?) and held out the three pokeballs. "I think any of these could work."

Farah - Espurr One read. The rest of the labels were scuffed and torn.

With a nod he pulled up a notepad. "Alright, so that's around half of you... maybe more." Gesturing his Dubwool closer, Hop picked up the tray. "I have Twyla, Caddie and Cyrus here on this tray." Setting the tray on the table he took off the pokeballs in groups of three setting them on the table. Each pokeball was labeled.

Twyla - Ghastly. Each pokeball wa labeled in a similar fashion.

Twyla - Morpeko. Twyla - Slowpoke.

Caddie - Panchum. Caddie - Munna. Caddie - Pumpkaboo.

Cyrus - Ralts. Cyrus - Sneasel. Cyrus - Jangmo-o.

"The rest are in the back." Hop explained, headed into the room. He then emerged holding another tray, Dubwool carrying a second.

Farah - Azurull. Farah - Espurr. Farah - Totodile.

Maria - Cleffa. Maria - Aron. Maria - Meowth.

Brook had watched as some trainers began to filter into the lab. She abandoned he seat, leaving the pencil to roll off the desk and clatter on the floor. She turned the corner, locating the Professor. Hop was standing over a tray, quite the number of pokeballs sitting on it. "Hey Professor, we got some new trainers coming in." Brook stated before turning an leaving the room. She knew how he felt this time around.

Prof. Hop

His hands were shaking. 17, he had sent out 17 trainers the year prior. Not even one made it. A shakey sigh left his lips. He called out his Dubwool, setting a tray full of pokeballs on top of the sheep pokemon. "Let's get this going." He spoke, turning around. How many would he be sending to their death this time? It wa getting harder for Hop as the years passed, sending out these kids. He was started to debate if he should just stop. The only thought that kept him going was the memory of his brother. He remembered how he felt when Lee gave him his pokemon he remembered the joy on his friend' face as well. He kept going to see these children smile, to feel a sense of normalcy in these times.

3... 2... 1...

Hop now faced a small group of new trainers in front of them. A small smile made it's way onto his face. He put do this. For Lee. "Welcome! I hope your ready to meet your new partner!" He exclaimed, gesturing to his Dubwool. "Some of you might remember the survey I sent out just last month. I used your answers to determine the pokemon that might suit you best!" He stared at the pokeballs. They were once caught by previous trainers, barely recovered from Team Rocket. They were barely even leveled. He lightly shook his head. "So, who have we got right now?"

Devon nodded before walking over to the Scorbunny. "I'll take this one!" He said excitedly.

Hop grinned running up to the Grookey. "Alright Grookey, you, Wooloo and I will be the best team ever!

With a nod, Leon handed the three the pokeball for their selected pokemon. "Alright then you three. Just remember to stay out of trouble."

Devon nodded, clutching the pokeball tight, though he didn't return the Scorbunny quite yet. "I'll call you Cipher." He announced, slipping the pokeball into his hand picking up the pokemon.

"I can't believe you guys!" Hop seemed pretty happy., Devon noted. Though his attention turned to Leon as the man cleared his throat. "All right then, everyone, come on out!" Leon let out three pokemon from their pokeballs, and Devon watched wide eyed as they started to move about. A Scorbunny was running across the ground, and a Grookey had moved next to the tree, smacking a stick against a berry. Finally a Sobble had made it's way to the river and was now enjoying a leisurely swim.

"Well, go ahead and pick one!" Leon said, watching with a soft smile.

Devon quickly shut his mouth, turning to Hop and Viola. "You guys can pick first."
Hop lightly shook his head. "Nah, I'll pick last. I've already got my Wooloo." The two turned to Viola, having decided to let her pick first.

Finally they reached the house. Devon let Leon take the lead, watching as the purple haired man knocked on the door. The door opened and Devon wa nearly taken aback when a loud shout echoed out. "Lee! You're back!" He watched as Hop flung himself outside, wrapping his arms around Leon. The older sibling seemed happy, and they held the embrace for a short while before Hop pulled away.

"Hey Hopster. I brought you guys a gift." Leon said, stepping back and reaching for something he had hidden. Hop seemed to notice Viola and Devon. "Wait, you guy knew about this!"

Devon smiled and nodded, wrapping an arm around Viola. "Sure did."
