Title: Team Dimension's Hideout

((I made a new character has been made for Team Dimension!))
Black boots tapped on the floor as a young women marched briskly down the hallway. The walls were painted a shade of dark blue, and the flooring was a dark red carpet with some kind of diamond design.
"You would think that Team Dimension's hallways would be jet-black." Raven muttered. "Or maybe bright pink with rainbows." Her dark purple hair glinted violet in the light as she walked by, scanning the doorways with her dark eyes. A Skarmory perched on her shoulder gave a harsh screech in response. "Skar... Skarmory!" Raven smiled ever so slightly. "Glad to see that you agree."

Finally, Raven reached the doorway she was looking for. Without even hesitating, she pushed it open. This is where Team Dimension's leader is going to announce the basic rules and all of that related stuff is going to happen. Perhaps she might meet a new recruit or two.

Then again, Raven doesn't like people.

Selene nodded, blinking furiously. "O-Oh... I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to... Say it like that..." The young girl flustered at her attempt to an apology. She brightened up as soon as she looked out the window, though.
"Wow..." was all she could utter. The forest looked so lush, so teeming with life. Selene couldn't wait until she set foot on that island. Beethoven opened his eyes and chirped as he peered out of the clear glass to see the blue ocean reflecting the sunlight and the land and future that lay ahead of them.

Beethoven opened his eyes and stretched his wings. Following Selene's gaze, he hopped off of her shoulder and fluttered around the ferry in a blur of colorful feathers. Selene giggled as she pulled down the window, allowing the bright sunlight to stream inside. The Chatot flew out the window, soaring over the water before returning to the ferry. "Chat... Chatot!" he chirped, too overwhelmed to speak the human language at the moment. Selene could tell what he was trying to say, though.

Selene looked up and blushed. Another person. Selene was always shy, for as long as she could remember. "O-Oh! Sorry, I must have drifted off for a moment there. My name is... Selene." She told Lee, slightly nervous in the presence of this newcomer. Then she turned to Raffaello, her jade colored eyes wide in wonder. "Hmm. I never really thought about the legend, whether it's true or not." She rocked back and forth, her heel grinding into the floor, as a memory hit her like a wave...

"Selene, I think you're ready for something."
Selene looked up as she turned her Capture Styler off. The rounded glass on top of the device flickered and dimmed, and the Styler emitted a soft whirring sound as it shut off. The Hoothoot she had just captured fluttered onto Selene's shoulder, in Beethoven's usual spot, and hooted softly. A Chatot squawked in indignation, but the Hoothoot simply turned around and glared at Beethoven with wide eyes. Unnerved by the round, unblinking circles, Beethoven settled on a nearby tree branch instead,

"Ready for what?" she asked, her heart thumping loudly in her chest. Maybe she was going to go on a Ranger Mission. Her mentor smiled down at her, the corners of his mouth turned up to make a lopsided grin. "I'm getting old, Selene. I've got grey hairs on my head no, and no energy for an adventure." Adventure... Selene shuddered at the word. Adventure meant journeys, danger, and risk. Excitement. "I would do this myself, but I'm just too... Old. I've taught you a lot, Selene. Maybe you should do this for me." The Ranger handed Selene a slightly wrinkled, yellowing paper. "Have you heard of the Guardians?" he asked gently. Selene nodded.
"Well, let me tell you what this slip of paper is..."

"I guess that even if the legend wasn't true, we're going to make it true. We're going to be Guardians!" she chirped. "The thing that's strange, though, are Gjinkas. It's hard to believe they could be real. Half Pokemon, half human? I just don't know..."
