Four Pokémon friends walked slowly through the woods, happily chatting. “Well then,” said Kiera, the girl pikachu. “Shouldn’t we be getting back to Blossom Forest? After all, it is getting pretty dark now and we’ve finished our evening walk. After all, the outside wood after dark is pretty scary...” She shivered. She didn’t want to think about that night, about how they got lost and Shadow, the darkrai, had to protect them from that evil pack of Mightyena... “Its ok, Kiera,” said Sparky, her girlfriend. They were holding hands and he squeezed it. “Don’t worry about that night. After all, that will never happen again...” Sparky sighed, thinking about it. “Anyway, I think Kiera’s right. We’d better head home.”
“Yeah! I’m so tirewd anyway!” yawned little Cutie sweetly. He was the youngest of them all, a young Riolu, and they had found him in an abandoned egg, back 4 years ago. “Lewt’s g- zzzzzz...”
“Awwwwww, cute!” said Kiera.
“Don’t worry about carrying him,” said Shadow. “In fact, I’ll carry you all home.”
When they finally got home to Blossom Forest, then suddenly heard some rustles under the blossoming trees. “What... is that?” asked a shivering Kiera. Then, suddenly, a whole troop of all kinds of different Pokémon jumped out from the bushes. “Aargh! Who are you Pokémon?” shouted Sparky.

he looked up, noticing it was getting dark, and stood up and stretched. "come over here, kids. let's get you to bed." he said affectionately, motioning for the two to come over.
red scrunched up her nose. "but daad! we're not tired! right, blue?" she turned to face her brother, who yawned.
"i think that settles it." hope chuckled, picking them up and placing them under the tree he had chosen to shelter under. "come on, go to bed. you can play in the morning okay?"
red huffed and snuggled up against blue. "fine.."
hope smiled at them and got up, looking around. he heard a noise and turned to look towards the direction it had came from, not seeing anything in the slowly fading light. he decided to head over, curious, yet cautious.

“Hello? Who’s there? We won’t hurt you!” shouted Shadow. “Hopefully they won’t hurt us either...” he muttered under his breath.
“What’s that, Shadow?” said Kiera.
“Oh, nothing.” he replied.
“Hello?” they all said together one more.

“It’s nice to meet you too. My name’s Shadow.”
“Hiya! I’m Sparky and Kiera’s my girlfriend.”
Suddenly, in Shadow’s big arms, Cutie stretched, yawned sweetly, and woke up. “What is gwoing on hwere? Aaaaaawwww! A scarwy Pokémon! Hewp!” screamed Cutie.
“It’s ok, it won’t hurt you, Cutie!” Kiera laughed.
“What’s your name?” asked Sparky.

“Oh no! Poor you! Anyway, I think Hope is a nice name!” Kiera said, smiling reassuringly.
“I wanna mweet new fwends! Nice Pokémon!” Cutie shouted.
“No... it’s too late... maybe tomorrow!” Shadow sternly said to Cutie. “Anyway, it’s getting really late. We’d better get to sleep. It’s been nice talking to you and all, but we should go now. We’ll talk more tomorrow. Have a nice sleep and also you are welcome to stay here as long as you like! Bye!”
(Just saying, I wonder how long it’ll be until everybody else starts talking!)
