"Eating schedules are awkward, but they'll probably bring something for the newbies soon," Joshua replied, smiling at Lizzy despite her prickly attitude. He was determined to be as helpful as possible to these people. He remembered how he'd desperately wished for people to answer his questions when he asked so long ago. He turned back to Eura, the his smile fading a little. "Well, we're not exactly natural. Most of the ones you'll meet here were grown in test tubes. It gives a couple odd side-effects." He spread his lopsided wings a bit, as proof. "But some of us must look pretty similar to you, I guess."

Eura stayed silent for a moment. "Ah," Her voice squeaked. "Alright."

Well, this is screwed up.

She scratched the top of her head, again surveying the room. "As far as I'm concerned," She finally hummed, looking back at Joshua. "You're no different from any other angel I've met." She said it more as a statement than as a fact. She had already made up her mind; if humans (she was now almost positive these were humans) were going to experiment and screw around with nature, she wasn't going to treat the result differently. Perhaps it would spite them.

Tami groaned as she lifted her face off of the pillow. “Five more minutes,” she mumbled, sitting up slowly. A frown crossed her face, and eyes still closed, she backed against the wall. “I- Where- I’m?” She blinked open her eyes and surveyed the room full of angels - and demons! “What’s happening? Why am I here? Did I do something wrong? Oh no, I knew it.”

"It's okay Lizzy, but you might want to stay a little calmer in the future. Some of us are trained to be fearful of anger, even if it's not directed towards us," Joshua replied. His smile brightened a bit at Eura's words. It was nice to not be called a freak by an outsider for once. "Thank you, that means a lot."

Eura smiled back and nodded. "No problem. ...And very much agreed. Though, I think we already knew that much before we came here." She shrugged before turning away and climbing up onto one of the bunks, now searching for a loose brick or something. Desperate times call for desperate measures, or something like that. She climbed onto the bunk above Tami and hung down to greet her.

"Nah, this one's on the humans, buddy." She leaned back up to the bunk, pushing on bricks.

Keita: Yea, only one thou. We used to walk together and stare at squirrels. But now here we are, in a room with no way out, yet. But don’t worry I won’t let anything hurt you.

She stares at the others conversations and think about joining in. But instead went to a unoccupied bunk and just sit and watch.

"I'm Joshua Red Haert, or 46-RED," he said. He gestured with his wing to Chae, who quickly pulled his knees closer to his body out of obvious discomfort. "And that's Chaelinn Decem Yuu, or just Chae or 10-CE. Saying he's a little shy is an understatement." As if proving this point, Chae flinched backwards when Kaz came near and tried to back up further into the wall.

"Well, that was useless," Eura decided after trying most of the bricks beside the bed. It was kind of comfy up here. "Pleased to meet you both." She blinked curiously at Chae but didn't question. It seemed rude.

"I wouldn't," Eura looked over at Keita. "That door seems pretty solid. Might mark up your claws."

"The humans, huh? I wonder why..." Tami trailed off for a moment, then shook her head. The angel turned towards Joshua and smiled. "Nice to meet you both. I'm Tami Thompson." She seemed to relax a bit after introducing herself, the normal conversation distracting her from the situation. "Joshua, I like your wings. They're really neat," she added after a beat, warming up to her company.

Rudy sat up from his dozing position against the wall. Stretching out, he looked around to see the others FINALLY awake. "Hey guys, glad to see everyone seems to be okay," he said, rising and straightening his coat out. "Name's Rudy, nice to meet you all."

"I don't know what will happen, honestly. Probably the same thing that happened to us. Testing, testing, and more testing with a touch of abuse somewhere in there," Joshua replied. He smiled at Tami, "Nice to meet you, and thank you." Carefully, he leaned over to press his hand against Chae's hair, trying to calm him. "I would step back a little if I were you, Kaz. Not that he's rude or anything of the sort, he just doesn't know you, and is rightfully a bit cautious."
