You can get banners below your pfp(profile picture) buy getting premium. All mods, artist, wiki admins, etc. Get their own banners with a custom pokemon on it. Banners in a signature can usually be bought in sprite shops, but those are used for links to something like another person's shop.

In the "special" section of the Emera mall item shop, you can buy premium for 1 week-1 year.
